Silk Soy Milk Vanilla —

I began drinking Silk Soy milk vanilla flavor several years ago when I was doing a lot of weight training, aerobic activities, and also keeping a strict food diary. I was trying to lose some weight and also eat (and drink) healthier. My nutritionist at the time told me that in order to lose weight successfully and keep it off, one should consume a certain amount of dairy products daily, which are high in proteins and also provide many nutrients. As I am lactose intolerant, the silk soy milk seemed like the best option for me.  Although it does not taste bad when you drink it alone, I must admit that it does taste much better when I added it to my protein shakes, which I was drinking twice a day. I had one for breakfast and another one as a mid-afternoon snack about two hours before dinner.

When I drank it alone, I felt its taste was somewhat bland, and I did not feel like I was drinking real milk. But for those of us who are lactose intolerant, it may be our best choice out there. I would highly suggest to anyone trying it that instead of drinking it by itself, to add it to your protein shake or your coffee drink and then it will taste much better.
