OK, checking around so no dairy cows see this review.  I live in Wisconsin,  I do have dairy cow farms a few miles away and I don't want them to know I have not only tried Silk light chocolate soy milk, but I LOVE IT.  (Oh, was that out loud?).

This Soy milk stuff has been something I have been wanting to try for some time now, but didn't want to spend money on something I wasn't to sure I was going to like. So being a Bzz Agent I was lucky enough to get on this campaign for "Silk Soy Milk".  I received my coupons and ran out to get the chocolate soy milk (My sister says the chocolate is...

Great for people who are lactose-intolerant or just don't like milk, and who lovelovelove chocolate but are still health-conscious.  Silk is natural and healthy - even the chocolate and sugar they use is the healthy kind.  And the thing about Silk Chocolate milk is that it tastes so good, even people who don't like Plain or Vanilla Silk soymilk usually love the chocolate milk.  It's rich, creamy, sweet...if it was a bit cheaper, it'd be in our fridge always.

I am a vegetarian, so I love the Silk products.  Often times I want a little more decadence with my soy milk so I opt for the chocolate variety and it tastes great.  Each serving of milk has a rich chocolate flavor and is creamy and silky.  I love this light variety because it has less calories but is still high in flavor.  Each one cup serving is only 120 calories and 1.5 grams of fat, so you get a lot of chocolate flavor with less calories.  I love the smooth taste and rich flavor.  It is perfect to drink plain, but it works well in baking and desserts as well.  I used it to make a double... review »

I was really impressed with the richy creamy taste and texture of this product.  Since I'm not a big milk drinker - soy or other wise, I thought I would try the Lite Chocolate version.  This stuff is great.  Perhaps someday I will try the plain and/or vanilla flavors.

I tried Silk chocolate milk on a lark.  I had an acquaintance that only drank soy milk, and said it tasted the same.  I, honestly, hate the way milk tastes.  I don't ever drink it... I get my calcium from supplements and cheese, because I can't even force myself to use it on cereal I hate it so much.  But, I was at the grocery store, and they had Silk chocolate in the single serve containers... and for some reason it sounded like it might be a good time to give it a try.  It was the regular chocolate, and I drank the entire container within about four minutes flat... I couldn't believe how... review »

If you are a chocolate milk fan you will love Silk Soy Light Chocolate Milk.

I have tried plain soy milk before, I don't recall what brand or brands, but I knew I wasn't going to try soy milk again.

Well, never say never right?  I do so love chocolate and I gave this a try.

I was so surprised how good it was. The chocolate taste was wonderful, the texture was smooth, and you would think it was milk from a cow.

Silk refridgerated light chocolate soy milk is a very tasty way to get a chocolate treat without all the calories.  It is so good, that many of my friends who say they hate soy milk have gone out to buy this product after they've had some at my house.  Try it in coffee for a mocha "latte."

I love this drink! The light version is just as good as the regular. I'm lactose intolerant but love chocolate milk.

I recently read that women need to be careful how much soy milk they drink because it put you at higher risk for cancer (http://www.healingdaily.com/detoxification-diet/soy.htm). Separately, the show "the Doctors" also discussed this. There are also websites that say the exact opposite (http://faq.aces.uiuc.edu/faq.pdl?project_id=5). My advice is talk to a doctor before using daily.

Besides the link to cancer, the price is another thing I dont like. It's pretty pricey.

I would...

Silk soy milk is just about the best soy milk maker in the market.  I'm allergic to dairy so all i can drink is soy.  I've tried many other different companies and many taste horrible.  But silk is very delicious.  :)  Only problem is that silk does charge more than other brands.  But I've been buying them a lot lately because of the coupons  hehe  :D

a 10 on taste!
a 4 on price!!

I love this product. When I have a chocolate craving instead of running to the M&M's these days, I go for this. It satisfies my sweet tooth and I don't have to feel guilty afterward. Silk products have helped me loss and maintain my weight. I use the light chocolate milk as a treat (a little club soda adds a nice kick to it ) and the vanilla is great on cereal. If you are trying to do something good for you body, Silk is the way to go.

I downloaded a coupon from Silks website for $2.25 off one Silk product.  I purchased the Light Chocolate Soymilk which was $2.89 at Walmart, so I only paid $0.64 for this product.  I must admit it was soooooo delicious.  My husband and I are now addicted, we could not get enough.  I am going to purchase it from now on as a household staple!

Chocolate "Silk" soy milk taste like real chocolate milk. Taste good hot or cold...adding a chai teabag also gives it a little kick. Cost is good compared to real chocolate milk...

Great treat for the whole family.

 Buy it....try it...

This soy milk is all natural and really healthy for you.  I find no difference, taste wise, in the light or regular soy milk but the light has fewer calories.  Great if you are watching your weight.  This is pricey compared to regular milk, but it goes on sale semi-regularly.
