I have been wearing glasses since I was in Kindergarden so I can say I have been through quiet a few pairs. These glasses are the nicest I have ever had. They are light and fit well to my head. They don't pinch behind the ears.
I work with students who grab and throw my glasses several times a day and they take the beating well. I wasn't sure how I would feel about them since they don't have hinges. But I LOVE them. I use to always take my glasses off in pictures and now I think I only did it for my staff picture because the flash would have caused my lenses to transition. That is saying a lot!
I would say the only down fall is that you need to remember to put them in the special case at least every other night so they will hold there shape. But that is a small price to pay to have comfort and discreatness. Since they don't have frames around the lenses they blend in to your face well.
There are a lot of colors to choose from. I got purple, my favorite. They are easy to find, many stores sell them I got mine at Group Health. The price is good for the projected life of the frames. They run around $200 - $350(not including lenses depends on where you get them) and I am told the frames should hold up for 7 years. It has to do with the metal (Titanium) they are made of.
