These brushes are nice, but for the money they cost, I was expecting a lot more. They are certainly not any better quality than the brushes at our local beauty supply store. A set of which doesn't cost half as much as these Sigma brushes. While some of the brushes are satisfactory, others are not. F30 large powder brush sheds badly especially if cleaned. The F50 duo fibre brush is not dense enough. The E40 tapered blending brush is very loose and not at all firm as a result it cannot be used for blending two shades and is not at all suitable for highlighting or filling out creases. While the other brushes have shown satisfactory results so far I cannot still help but be a little disappointed. These brushes are definitely not a value for money bargain.

There's been a lot of buzz about these brushes in the makeup community because they are so similar to MAC's incredible brushes. While I love my MAC brushes and wouldn't ever give them up, these are definitely comparable and I'd highly recommend them. Not only are they hot pink unlike MAC's plain black brushes but they are also much more affordable. Favorite brush of the set? - Pencil Brush because I had been looking for a really good one for a while. This one made the makeup go on smooth but was firm enough to achieve the effect I wanted. Least favorite brush of the set? - Foundation Brush because I didn't like the texture of the bristles. It felt cheap to me so I'd say this was probably the least quality brush of them all. Other noteworthy brushes? - Duo Fibre Brush! Out of all the brushes, this one is the identical twin to MAC's Duo Fibre 130 brush. This is a MUST HAVE if you want your skin to look airbrushed. It's super fluffy and really makes your skin look flawless. Overall, I was very impressed with these brushes and I definitely feel that they live up to the hype. I will say one thing though.. The eye shadow brushes are made much better than the face makeup brushes. I'll be sticking to my MAC brushes when it comes to foundation, blush, bronzer, etc. because I felt that Sigma's bristles were a little harsh. They applied the makeup fine but they felt a bit rough against the skin, which can be a problem if you have sensitive skin so just be aware of that if you buy these!

I am a freelance makeup artist so I need alot of brushes in my collection and honestly most of the good brushes are way to expensive to buy yet alone buy all of them and double of them but I still need to have good quality brushes and after buying a couple from sigma, i had to order this set. these brushes are truly awesome! And even more awesome is the price, they are half the price of macs brushes and they are the exact same quality as macs if not better. They have every brush that you need and in this kit if you bought it, you really wouldnt need to buy any other makeup brushes, it has everything you need in it. The price is a bit pricey because you are buying alot at one time but if you did the math you are getting a great deal. I think everyone who needs brushes should get these brushes, you wont be disappointed! You can only get them online which is the only bad thing but it's worth it. I would recommend to everyone.
