The Sigg Water Bottle "is a fabulous, eco-friendly alternative to plastic bottles." The Siggs are "stylish and have a great choice for graphics." Reviewers are finding themselves switching to to this product because of news of "cancer-causing BPH in plastic bottles." The Sigg is made of aluminum which "keeps liquids colder for a longer period of time" and "does not absorb smells or tastes from drinks such as juice or iced coffee." One of the best features of these water bottles, is that they fit in cup holders for easier portability. While the Sigg Water Bottles do carry a hefty price tag, reviewers encourage you to see that if you spend even $1 per bottle, and drink one liter of water a day, "in three weeks you'd recoup the cost of the Sgg." Overall, this water bottle is "a 'green' bottle no mater which color you choose." Pair this with a PUR Faucet Water Filter for even more added benefits.

Water is the essence of life and we feel blessed to have well water from a spring fed property that tastes like water is supposed to- like nothing but water. We’ve always taken our own water on our excursions, avoiding buying bottled...

Most HelpfulWe originally got a Sigg for our now 4 year old when the BPA stuff first came out in the media. They advertised as being BPA free so along with so many others, we ran and got them. The ABC bottle was so cute with its little glow in the dark flippy lid that I ended up investing in one for me and one...

My SIGG Bottle - Classic Edition, 1 liter.
It's not the lightest bottle around, but it's tough and it comes in many many shades and sizes. Apparently it's coated with a layer of acid-resistant material so your coke doesn't eat up the inside wall of the bottle (not that I have ever put fizzy drinks into any of my bottles).
The bottle can dent if it hits against something hard or sharp, the outside coating can get scratched up as well but as long as there's no puncture, I'll still use it.
There are spare parts and accessories for the bottle as well, eg cap, insulated sleeve, bottle cleaner,...
review »I bought my Sigg water bottle about 2 months ago and love it!
-They are made out of aluminum which (to my surprise) keeps liquids colder for a longer period of time than plastic bottles.
-The aluminum does not absorb smells or tastes from drinks such as juice or ice coffee, so your drink will taste fresh all the time!
-They fit in cup holders!
I am not the type of person that would go out and buy a $22 water bottle but it was well worth the money! What really sets Sigg brand bottles apart from other aluminum water bottles is the Swiss-made quality, and their funky designs. They come in colorful,...
review »After hearing a lot about cancer-causing BPH in plastic bottles, I purchased a Sigg water bottle. This is a tough little bottle! Of course, if you drop it, it can dent. Sigg didn't make it completely impervious to our everyday mishaps. But it usually won't break -- not unless you really try hard to make it break, say, like beating it repeatedly with a sharp rock. If it falls at an unfortunate angle and strikes on the lid, the plastic screw-on top can break, but replacements are easily available through the Sigg website.
The interior is lined so you don't have to worry that drinking from...
review »I switched from regular plastic water bottles because of the health concerns associated with drinking from plastic bottles, but also because I knew it would help me refrain from drinking from disposable bottles that are bad for the environment and require so many of our natural resources to manufacture and fill. I picked the 1 liter sized bottle that said "Make Love Not Landfill." I now consider my Sigg personal water bottle a vital accessory, reminding me to drink more water, making a statement about my values, and expressing myself with a special design. Yes, all in a water bottle!
Sigg...
I was originally attrached to Sigg waterbottles last year for a few reasons. First, I was not happy with how many plastic bottles I was wasting daily. We do not have a water cooler or even good tap water at my work, and I knew the plastic I was going through (even though I recycle) was not very green. Second, I love how Sigg bottles look. I have a 20oz bottle that I use all the time and the art on it is awesome. I like the 20oz size too because it is easy to carry or fit in a bag or purse. Finally I chose this bottle over some cheaper plastic options out of concern for BPA in them. ...
review »The Sigg water bottles are stylish and have a great choice for graphics . I have switched because of the recent health scare related to plastic bottles. I had been a devout Nalgene bottle user for years. I decided there was too much information against plastic bottles to ignore anymore, so I decided to switch. I also don't like buying bottled water. I don't like putting water bottles into the environment all the time. I found there are a lot of different metal water bottles out there. The pros are it is easy to get a tight seal on the bottle, which is important to me because I have had other...
review »This water bottle is ideal for me.
I started drinking more water because the doctor said my dehydration could be causing my awful frequent headaches. I had previously owned a Nalgene but had recently heard that those (older ones) were leaking chemicals into the liquids inside. Frustrated with buying plastic water bottles when I would go to the gym - because I hate how costly they are and how bad for the environment they are - I decided to search for a new solution.
A friend had mentioned her love for her new-found Sigg bottle. Although they used to be apparenly another culprit for chemical...
review »I have been addicted to my SIGG water bottle for a year now. I love all the designs they come in . I have a regular sized one and it is a great amount of water and not too big and bulky to carry to and from work and keep in the car for after workouts. I have dropped it many times, and it has stayed in good shape. I only hand wash my SIGG water bottle and it seems to stay clean, you just have to get used to the metal smell of your water. Just think of all the money you saved not buying bottled water that is leaking chemicals into your water. You can get a more fancy top for your SIGG but I am...
review »Why shoulnd't everyone use a reusable bottle? Even if you aren't green, it makes sense. Think of all the water you buy in plastic bottles? How much does that cost? We could all buy a filtering water pitcher and get a metal bottle to refill. Spend maybe $50.00 yearly on filters...
Remember when you were a kind and you used to go visit your grandparents? They had that pump outside for water, and that huge metal ladle..remember how cold and great it was? Relive the experience every time you drink!
Are plastic bottles safe? I'm not sure...but I think it's kind of ick to reuse...
review »I got my Sigg as a present 10 months ago and I use it everyday.
- They keep water cool and fresh
- It saves you a TON of $$$. Think about it. Its a $20 water bottle. Let's be really generous and say water costs $1 per bottle (we all know its closer to $2 these days). That means that if you drink only 1L of water a day, in 3 weeks you'd recoup the cost of the Sigg. Now, if you drink more than that, you'll get back your investment even more quickly.
- It's more environmentally friendly than plastic water bottles.
- It's healthier for you than Nalgenes.

My biggest problem was figuring out...
review »I have a health condition which requires that I don't drink anything with sugar or sugar substitutes, so you can imagine how much water I drink as a result. I used to take plastic water bottles everywhere with me, when I decided to take an earth-friendlier approach. This truly does not leach any tastes in or out, are durable (especially if you use one of their slip-cover accessories), and are beautiful to boot. The drinking tops with the transparent flip-caps I find difficult to drink out of, so I'm going to order the 3-stage sport top since I've read it's much easier to get a good...
