To the Point

I had such a bad experience with Snapfish (to be reviewed) that I will try Shutterfly for my photos. We usually go with whatever service is the least expensive. In the meantime I am so taken with one experience I had with Shutterfly that it seals the deal to use them the next time I order photos.

A Closer View

Shutterfly is $.19 for a 4 x 6 which tends to be a bit more than Snapfish especially with the discounts you can find online for Snapfish. Still I'll pay for service and Shutterfly did a great job.

I got an e-mail that they were offering a free 8 x 10 collage. Having a folder named "pictures for collage" the timing couldn't have been better. You can choose from four print sizes in their collages which can include up to 30 photos. I could choose the font if I wanted to write something and the photo edge. I could choose from a variety of background and layouts such as travel stamps, world map and clouds. I chose world map and picked nine pictures.

From there it was just a matter of uploading the pictures I wanted and playing around with what spotted I wanted them in. The collage came in just a few days and it's beautiful. The 8 x10 is only $4.99. I paid for shipping only which was $2.99.

They are now offering 15 free 4 x 6 prints. Other items you can buy include personalized gifts such as cards, mini-albums, and calendars.

Hi, thanks for the comment. The college is posted on the right at the top of my page right here at the review. The blue is my border but you can choose from a whole bunch. Have fun:) Jo

I never noticed the collage before but now that sounds like a great idea and a nice present for the kids I can easily find 30 pictures of each of them through their years growing up. Only one is 30 so maybe that would be a nice 30th Birthay gift for them and then one for Mom and Dad to hang on the wall.
More interesting than the photo albums for giving them a first try. Maybe now I can use the offers that all always sent.
Thanks for that Heads up. I really like that idea.
Was the quality of the photos good then and the collage done nicely
Do you have anyway of posting one, even just by taking a picture of it would be a nice way to show the kind of job they do on them?
My Daughters love coolages and always would use a wall in there bedroom to make one of their friends, family, and favorite places we traveld to when they were younger.
Thanks again that sounds Way Cool!
Gees I should really start opening my emails, it's just that I get so many. I guess that deal is way over with.
That was with Shutterfly correct. I'm really pysched! So...Psyched that I am going to stop right here reading anymore reviews and such and head there to check out the collages.
Thanks in Advance

Looking down... as I go to hit send... I see the next review says your collage looks great...where is it posted, can anyone see it?
Now I couldn't help glance down a bit more and it looks like Shutterfly has it hands down!
See ya all at Shutterfly, sounds like I'm missing out on a lot!

Your collage looks great, and I'm glad to know more about Shutterfly. I'm looking for a non-tax site if possible. Snapfish taxes California and eats up my discounts. Thanks for the info.

I also had a bad experience with Snapfish and will also now only use Shutterfly when ordering prints online.

I usually use whoever sends me an email with a deal going on. I have used many different online processing services with no dissapointment. When I need them right away..I use walgreens.com. No matter how many I need..they are done in about an hour and I can go pick up at my local store. Love the convenience...although it is more costly. Shutterfly is my favorite though.

I have tried Snapfish and I have trouble getting the photo to upload for processing, so I just go through Costco when I need photos. My neighbor across the street uses Shutterfly and loves it for getting personalized items done. I need to check them out. I have seen some of their work and it's professionally done. Thanks for the review, it was nicely done.

I need to order some pics. Mom wants some for Christmas. I'm thinking Kodak. Thinking. Thinking.
