Before Flickr, I used Shutterfly occasionally to share photos with friends. I found the online sharing interface very slow and doesn't encourage feedback from viewers, and migrated to Flickr for photosharing and networking.

But when I wanted to make a calendar as a gift, I found Flickr's affiliate printing services (Zazzle, Qoop, HP), lacking because they only had a single layout for calendars, which is one photo per page. Also, none of them offered full-bleed to edge, which mean the photo takes up the entire page all the way to the edge, no frame at all, full bleed looks much more professional and requires high quality printers and printsetting.

After checking out other printing services such as Photoworks, Snapfish, and Kodak, I decided to go with Shutterfly because: 1) It was the most affordable and 2) Shutterfly offered layouts that allowed fun collages and the layouts offered looked very nice. I placed the order on Thursday evening, selected the Priority Shipping option (3-5 days after production), and received the calendars on Monday! It was incredibly fast. And the calendars look great! I'm really excited to give these as Christmas gifts.

I'm very pleased with Shutterfly's printing service, they deliver great products at great prices.
