I was shocked. . . there was plot!

Shutter surprised me, there was an actual plot behind all the screaming and terror. I came out of it enjoying the movie, even though it wasn't anywhere near the scariest movie I've seen. I would definitely recommend it and would watch it again. The movie wasn’t what I was expecting and I’m happy to say that the whole thing was not predictable, as scary movies can be.

I was really excited to see Shutter at the box office.  It looked like it was going to be suspenseful and thrilling.  I was so dissapointed after seeing it that I feel like I should get my money back twice over.  Shutter was very very slow from the beginning.  It took until half the movie was over for anything to start happening.  It was basically another type of movie like The Grudge and The Ring but worse.  The scary parts weren't even scarey enough to bat an eyelash at.  The suspense parts are pretty much like the two movies mentioned above but like I said worse.  The sneaking up on...

Shutter had an interesting plot. It kept me guessing until the end. It was quite easy to tell this movie was from the same producers of the Grudge and Ring movies, like a movie from Tim Burton. It was more suspenseful than it was scary, and was slow in the beginning, but once it picked up, became a very good movie. I was impressed. I hope you like it as much as I did!

I recently rented Shutter from Blockbuster and it really wasnt all that great.  It was slow and like the other poster said, been there, done that!  I just dont understand why it is so hard to get a good scarey movie anymore

Shutter was OK to see once, but I wouldn't recommend buying it or anything.  Most horror movies are just a big let down.
