into making my yard look good, a lazy gardener, learning as I go
The very first shrub I planted in my front yard was the Emerald and Gold Euonymus Bush. I picked it out at the garden center because it had a glossy, variegated yellow-and-green color and an interesting form of mounded and draped leaves. I didn't know anything about it other than I liked the looks of it and the tag said it would grow in heavy shade to full sun in zones 5 to 8.
