Shrek the Halls has been eagerly anticipated by my children for the last three weeks.  McDonald's shamelessly promoted the program through their Happy Meals and advertisements.  We watched the program as a family tonight.  We are big Shrek fans and get a kick out of the "potty" humor.  But at the same time, there is always a message.  The good guy wins, the bad guy loses.  The program was full of commercials, which was a bit annoying. Clever insertions of up-to-date songs help to give the story momentum.  The plot was simple.  Shrek had never… read full review »

Last night my family and I watched "Shrek The Halls" on TV. Our ages are 11, 17, 35, 55, and 57. All of us enjoyed this program. Shrek decides he wants to have a quiet Christmas celebration at home with just Fiona and the triplets. Donkey comes over and Shrek tells him he wants to celebrate with just family. Donkey just assumes that all of Shrek's close friends are family.
