Shrek is one of the best all-round family films. I say it's a family film for several reasons, the main reason because kids of all ages will love this film. I enjoyed this movie as a comedy. It's not just a childern's movie it is a family movie. It has a cute lovable donkey. A twist to a fairy tale. There are no spoilers contained in this review! The Case — With the new Shrek movie hitting theaters, I felt the need to pull the original tale of my favorite, green-skinned ogre from the shelf. With a family full of kids, you have to pick lots of animated movies to watch all the time. You also hope that the ones your kids like are good! Well, we viewed Shrek several years ago and we are still watching it today!
