Shreki s a great movie. Some people said that it was a little bit over the top when it came to a children's movie. There were some parts of the movie that children didn't understand or possible "get the meaning of" but the adults understood and it wasn't racy at all. I just remember laughing my butt off right along with my family and them loving it, still to this day. My daughter will still wactch it, and if she hears a song that was from the movie on the radio, she will say, "Hey that's from Shrek." So naturally when the second and third parts came out, we just had to get them and watch them. They were still as funny as the first, and I wouldn't say one negative thing about either of the movies.
I just love it when I hear Mike Meyers voice, he has so many different ways of speaking and so many language variations, he keeps you on your toes and wanting more. He definitely has the character of Shrek down to a science. And Cameron Diaz definitely has Fionna down to a science as well. It was awesome to know that in the first movie, Fionna actually was an ogre and that made all little girls so happy to know because she could be the same as Shrek. Two ogres in love....awww how cute and adorable.
So if you would like to have a good laugh and maybe even a good cry (lol), then I suggest this movie for your family. It is definitely worth seeing more than one time.
