Shrek Review

     Shrek is one of the best all-round family films.  I say it's a family film for several reasons, the main reason because kids of all ages will love this film.  My daughter, who is almost three years old, loves and adores Shrek.  This is the first movie in a series that is a must see for everyone.

     The movie begins with Shrek living in his swamp land.  It is taken over by these fairy tale creatures such as the Gingerbread Man and others, and the only way he would be able to get his land back is to rescue the princess for Lord Farquod.  He is on quite a long journey, more than he expected.

     He has a tag a long on his journey, who is Donkey.  The voice of Donkey is Eddie Murphy, who does an excellent job.  Donkey is a fun lovable creature who is in it for the fun.  Shrek is played by Mike Myers, which everyone knows, is a bunch of laughs. 

     I don't want to give the whole movie away, but here is a little more.  Shrek finally finds Princess Fiona, and they start their journey back.  Princess Fiona is stubborn, and she is upset because her Prince Charming didn't rescue her himself.  Shrek explains the situation but she is just in a hurry to see her Prince Charming.

     The movie is a bunch of laughs, and it is very adventurous.  There is not a dull moment in the whole movie.  It is fun to see some of the old fairy tale creatures that you have not seen in awhile.  There is a small amount of crude humor, most children would not even catch on to it.

      I recommend Shrek the movie to anyone.  Everyone of all ages would enjoy the show, and it is definately one to add to the collection.
