I am a last minute shopper!! Even so I shop for quality, value and friendly service. I used 1-800-Flowers.com to send my mom flowers for Mother's Day. I waited until Saturday to start shopping. Since my mom lives out-of-state, I knew the only way to guarantee next day delivery was through the Internet. Since I am a MyPoints user, I tried 1-800-Flowers.com on MyPoints' reference. I recently ordered two separate flower arrangements for my mom and mother-in-law. In placing my online order, the site went down before I could completed the order for my other-in-law. I went back in to place the order for her and soon after received 3 emails for confirmations. I only placed 2 orders; however, it appears that when the site closed out it had already taken my original order. So, my mother-in-law ended up with 2 orders of flowers. I am a scientist at heart and have a BS in toxicoogy. So trust me when I say that Splenda is the brand to use when comparing it to other sweetners. Equal is a brain toxicant, saccharin has its own hazards to your health. Splenda is rapidly excreted in your system through urine and feces and is about 400 times stronger than your regulr tablespoon of sugar. I ordered flowers from this company on May 8, 2008 for my sister and neice. The price was great and the flowers were beautiful. I talked to my sister the other day and she said they still looked great. The thing I liked most is that even though I ordered a couple days before mother's day their delivery charge was the best I could find for next day delivery and to top it off they gave a discount and I was a first time pruchaser. Love the quality of the plants and flowers that arrive from this florist. They always last a long time or live and thrive after getting them delivered. It for the most part is delivered ontime or if not, there is always a good reason. A number of years back, I ordered flowers for a sad occasion. My boss' mom passed away. We called the number and ordered the flowers. We got a call 2 days later that they delivered the flowers after the funeral to the funeral home. So they were late. My boss never got them. So I asked for a refund. The partner shop refused. I used the online system to order flowers for my mother. I did it only a couple of days before mothers day. The online system worked pretty well for that transaction - except it kept telling me I had the wrong address when the problem was it didn't like some of the characters in the password. I spent about 10 minutes going around and around trying to guess what version of my address they wanted before I decided to try creating a different password. My sister recently had surgery and I sent her flowers. I had a coupon from one of the surveys that I belong to so used it on FTD. I have used FTD previously so this was not the first time. When choosing your flowers you have to remember that they are much smaller than they are pictured so that you will not be disappointed when you see them. My sister loved them and I did not have to leave my house. There is a large selection to choose from and they do have sales at different times.
