I shopped with Shop NBC in the past. And I purchased a spa in the box. Was pleased to be offered the option to pay with value pay. And might I mention the value of this item.      I have shopped with ShopNBC for a number of years, both online and through watching their shopping channel on TV.  They have some very good jewelry lines (Offerings Jewelry, Generations 1912, and others) and the shopping channel is technically of very high quality and is quite entertaining (much more so than QVC and the other shopping channels).

     I have experienced two particular problems with ShopNBC.  First, they provide a "retail value" for each item (saying what they believe the item would be worth elsewhere).  Of course, their own price is always much lower than the retail...

About 10 days ago, ShopNBC changed the Value Pay structure; most items under $100.00 are full price plus S&H & over $100.00 it is 2 Value Pays.  I believe they are tring to get away from the Value Pays & push you into using their Credit cards.  I am on a tight budget; but I could afford to purchase from ShopNBC with the Value Pays under $100.00.  I also understand that with less or no Value Pays the vendors get paid quicker & there is less paperwork on their part; or that they want only the customers who have deep pockets & will buy, no matter how they present the product.  But for me I have... read full review »

Terrible, useless customer service - shop at QVC or HSN instead!

I have ordered from ShopNBC for years but have recently found their customer service to be horrible.  For the past two years all of my orders have been shipped to me at my home, but recently as of November all of the orders I place online go to my mother's house which is an hour away (my address from 2 moves ago).  When the first order was sent there, I was very very careful to update all of my addresses and was vigilant during the checkout process that the old address didn't appear -- surprise, the order arrived at my mom's address.  I gave the representative and the supervisor I spoke to different...

I have shopped with Shop NBC for over 3 years.  They are good with returns except with their high ticket items.  The don't seem to give good customer service for items over 500.00.  I will say that I love their value pays.  Great over the holidays!  They don't charge sales tax and they offer free shipping frequently.  I have bought many jewelry items, (stay away from the diamond jewelry though because the diamonds are of a poorer quality.)  But other jewelry they offer is of a good quality.  They do overstate the retail prices, though.

Poor custumer service

I recieved a code from them. Planned to order a tripod for my son. When I placed my order it refused the code. I called custumer service and saw I had two ID numbers. I thought that may be the problom and asked how to fix it, she said she would just delete and I would have to wait a few days. I then figured out on my own how to log in with the correct number. Still code would not work. I called then at least 6 times today, got many differing answers to why it would not work. At this point my code I recieved as a rebate seems to be worthless. Love shopnbc, the value pays are great.  They offer up to 5 value pays.  They just dont have as much product as HSN & QVC
