I have tried just about every type of paint on the market today, and this is by far the worst brand out there!  It is nearly impossible to get a second gallon to match up to what I bought earlier.  It never touches up.  It is also very watered down.  Even cheap paint from K-Mart didn't run off the wall like Sherwin Williams did.  The sales reps are always trying to push their high end paint, and it sucks just as bad as their lower end paint.  Want a good value for your money?  Ditch Sherwin Williams and try Valspar from Lowes.

I paint alot, and I prefer Sherwin Williams over any other brand. Sherwin-Williams paints are a better value because they cover well, and finish nicely. I never get the same results with cheaper paints. Some of the lines of paint that Sherwin-Williams makes are thinner, but that is not to be confused with the quality, the paint is supposed to be that way so you do not get lap marks on the finish. I too have used every paint out there, and few match the quality or SW.

You are either lying or a total idiot and do not know how to paint because all the things you stated are the total opposite of SW paint.

I've been using Sherwin-Williams paint for over 15 years and I have never had a bad experience with it. I use their Superpaint. I have always found it to be very thick, and it usually covers with one coat. I've never had any problem with matching, either. I don't think S-W gives professional painters the deep discounts that Porter and others do, so I've had trouble getting professionals to use it. But I love it and wouldn't use anything else.

The valspar from lowes is excellent, I can even store the left over paint and easily use it later!
