I painted my house 10 yrs ago and the paint was a 10 then i painted again and the paint destroyed my siding and Sherwin William wont stand behind there warranty even if i know they didn't put in the additive they said they did . this company did nothing for me.

I was told by the company that we bought our metal garage doors from that we had to purchase this product along with a very expensive primer from Sherwin Williams to paint the doors or our warranty would be void. I am an interior decorator and this is the worst paint I have ever used! After three coats of paint and waiting three days in between each coat the paint is still tacky and the panels continue to stick together tearing the paint from the edges when we open the doors. I even went as far as putting wax paper in between them to help prevent it with no avail. And after three coats you can still see dark and light blotches all over the doors!

I recently bought some old adirondack chairs that needed restoration. I purchased some Sherwin-Williams exterior paint to do the job. The price was good for this paint and it worked very well. The paint applied great, there were no streaks or patches when it was applied or when it dried. So far the paint on the chairs is holding up extremely well. I would definitely recommend this paint to anyone looking for a fairy cheap yet great quality exterior paint. Quality The quality of this paint is excellent. I was skeptical because it was a great price, but the paint is better than some of the expensive brands Ive tried. Durability I have only had the chairs outside for about a month but so far the paint is holding up beautifully. Coverage This paint had excellent coverage, there were no streaks or patches when I was applying it or when it dried. Ease of Appliation This paint was very easy to apply. I just used a simple paint brush to apply it and it worked great!

We replaced some exterior wood and once it aged, I wanted to paint it with a quality paint that would last. Some online sites recommended Sherwin Williams, so I gave it a try. I was very pleased with the way it spread on. The wood I painted was on the north side of the house, and I've been so pleased with how it still looks as good as the week I painted. Quality I've done quite a bit of painting in the last few years, and I like Sherwin Williams the best. I think it is definitely worth the price. Durability So far, everything I painted looks just as good as when I spread it on. Coverage I used a brush, and was very pleased with how easily it covered the wood. I was painting pine, and I did put on two coats, mostly because it was outside. I thought that a gallon of Sherwin Williams paint covered quite a bit of wood. Ease of Appliation Again, I used a brush and enjoyed the painting job. Sherwin Williams paint goes on easily. I was very happy with how the paint spread. I used white, which is sometimes tricky to get to look good.

This paint is well worth the money you pay for it! It goes on creamy and thick, which at first concerned me because I was afraid it wouldn't cover everything I needed it to cover, but it did! It has the paint primer built into it which is wonderful because you do not need to apply so many layers of paint. Not only did this save me the extra money of buying a primer but it also saved me the aggravation of having to get a separate primer for it before use. The color matched up very well to my old color. I took a paint chip in and you can NOT tell the difference of color from the old paint on the house and the new paint. This saved me a small fortune because I did not have to buy enough paint to repaint the entire house, allowing me to focus my energy on the sections in need of a little love and care. Sherwin Williams went the extra mile when making this paint product! I would recommend the Sherwin-Williams Exterior paint to anyone who needs to paint part of their house but doesn't have the money or time to paint the entire thing. Quality It goes on creamy and smooth. There is no watered downed look and it covered the entire area I needed it to cover! Durability So far so good! Coverage I was happily surprised to see how far this paint will go with one coverage. No need to apply a second layer. Quite simply..some of the best paint I've ever used. This is one of the best 3 paints overall that I've ever used.th Quality If there is such a thing as a one coat paint, this would be it. It gives amazing coverage and is very durable in many different climates. Durability Seven years and still going strong. Amazing paint. As with most paints, seal tightly for future touch ups or new coats. Coverage As good as it gets. This paint is top of the line. Ease of Appliation Not harder nor easier to apply than most premium paints. Since this paint is much thicker than most other paints, it goes on with less drips which is nice as well as less coats which is less work.

I must say , I am frugal by nature. However this should not apply when purchasing paint. Last summer we decided to give the front of our home a quick facelift. We skimped on the materials we used and had to re apply this year. We went to our local Sherwin Williams store, and the sales reps were extremely helpful. The not only suggested a product that would minimize our prep time, but they also offerd the materials at a discount if we opened a homeowners frequent buyers account. The material we used was a Two In One Exterior Latex Semi Gloss material. It made it possible to avoid the Primer coat, and the finish was exceptional. It came with a 10 year warranty that they have in writing on the label. The color was matched to the existing colors we had on our home already, and the match was spot on. The money that we saved on the materials last year was nominal, and the work required to fix our previous frugality was not worth it!
