We bought the Shermag glider rocker and ottoman combo (in cherry and fern color) shortly after my daughter was born. It was the most comfortable to sit in of all the gliders I tried. It took my husband an hour or two to put it all together. We returned the first one because it had a "catch" in it when I rocked, and it had a horrible squeak if you rocked all the way back. The replacement was better, though it still has a small catch. I love the comfort of the chair, but it hasn't held up very well--it is a little loose and you can wiggle the whole thing from side to side. People say it's too narrow, but I thought it was just right for nursing.

This is a sturdy, smoothly gliding, comfortable chair, but make sure you lock it and watch your toes! The bars on the sides kind of cross/pass the gliding bars and a friend of mine nearly broke a big toe by getting it stuck in there while gliding. Can only imagine what it'd do to a child's finger. We got rid of it the moment our daughter figured out how to unlatch it!

my wife and i purchased this glider after several weeks of researching to find the best brand as well as the best price and ratings. we purchased this glider and ottoman from target during their baby sale, so we got a fairly good price on it and are very happy with our purchase. it has a smooth gliding motion and is pretty comfortable. it was easy to set up and made of sturdy wood. it took me and my wife about 30 minutes total to set up. she is seven months pregnant and is very happy with it. the only downfall is that i would say it is a little narrow. neither of us are obese people, but we are not petite either. she is wondering how it will be when she is nursing the newborn with a boppy in the chair too. i think it will be fine. for the price, comfotablility and construction, we would highly recommend this glider. there are many others out there for much more and I would say this is comparable.

This rocker is great! I don't have enough words to say about it. If you are a nursing mother, this is a must have! Even if you are not, this will make your bottle feedings much easier, and definitely more comfortable! When my son was first born it felt like I was nursing him 24/7, I definitely needed something comfortable enough to sit through the many hours of nursing sessions. Not only was this rocker and ottoman comfortable, but it also was a big help in getting my son to fall asleep. He was a difficult baby to soothe, but the gentle back and forth motions of the rocker put him to sleep with ease (and me along with him!). The neutral color can be used in any nursery, and after those wonderful night time feeding stages are over, you can still use this piece of furniture in your living room as extra seating. You will not be disappointed, make your life a little easier! The material is also easy to wipe down and remove stains as well.
