It's tough for me to be objective about anything when it comes to Hawai'i. The first time I went there, I instantly fell in love with the Hawai'ian people and the Hawai'ian traditions. I flew to Hawai'i from Virginia (8-10 hrs) to meet up with my husband who was working there at Honolulu Airport. Basically our hotel room was being paid for by his company since he was working, but I'd like to comment on this hotel and it's amenities. First, all of the staff are sure to extend the "Spirit of Aloha". It's important to "feel" this when visiting Hawai'i, otherwise, really what's the point. Our rooms were spotlessly cleaned and the ladies that took care of cleaning them, were always nice, cordial and pleasant to speak with. The hotel's amenities were superb. The only drawback was that the hotel was under renovation, but hey, you can't really fault them for trying to make it a better place to stay in. Our room had a comfy king sized bed with a flat screen TV and a wonderful view of the pool, ocean and volcanic mountains! I used the gym/fitness facilities there on a daily basis and they were always clean with up to date equipment. I totally recommend this place to anyone that's looking for a hotel that's right on the beach, with happy hour M-F, 2 clean pools, wonderful shops and awesome staff and view!
