Sheraton Vistana Resort - Orlando, FL Reviews

For Spring Break this year, my family and I did the unthinkable, at least to me. We went to Orlando, Florida.  The choice for this decision was based primarily on two things. We just spent a week at the Sherton Vistana, having exchanged for it through our timeshare. The suite itself was very comfortable and spacious - if it has one negative, it's true of every resort I've seen in Florida...the colors are out of date (pink tile! Blech!). All in all, that's no big deal. I've been staying in timeshare resorts my entire life, and the Vistana is one of the best I've seen. Check-in was easy and quick (as was check-out), the map was easy to follow to our suite, and every employee we encountered was wonderful. We came down on an exchange from another time-share property.  The resort was nice and beautifully landscaped.  We arrived early and were allowed to "pre" check-in but when we came back at their check-in time there was a very long line we still had to stand it.  We have a one-bedroom in our time-share but only got a studio.  The kitchenette was ok but the refrigerator was small and didn't even fit into the opening designed for it.  The living room was layed out wrong.  The TV faced the very uncomfortable couch with a chair in the corner (facing the back of the… read full review »

The Sharaton Vistana Resort was a great place to stay. A gated community located close to Disney and Univeral with easy access to I-4. The Condo, building and grounds were immaculate. The swimming pools were fantastic and the general store on the grounds was handy. When we arrived we discoverd the refrigator was not cooling properly and reported it. A maintenace man came right away and worke don it. He was not able to get it to cool propelry so the next day they replaced it with a new one! My family had a brief stay at the Sheraton Vistana Resort, but wished we could have stayed longer. Staff went out of their way to make us feel comfortable, and reception answered all of our questions promptly. They even helped us find our way home when lost on the the Interstate 4! Our room was clean as can be, and looked nice enough (TV could use some updating). The Vistana Resort is BEAUTIFUL with a very friendly staff at every corner. The rooms are gorgeous with beautiful views off of a balcony! It was a normal hotel room and it felt like we were staying in a suite. It is conveniently located near all the parks and also supplies shuttle buses to these places. Our trip was great and the Sheraton helped us all have a good time . The room was very nice and big. Loved having a washer /dryer in the room . Having a general store on the grounds was great for your last minute shopping things. The pools were great and the resaurants were good too. 2 miles to Disney! The Sheratin Vistana Resort was very comfortable. The room was clean and nicely decorated. There was ample space for six people. There were several nice pools on the resort property as well as a general store and a few restaurants. Clean, efficient management. The only thing that bothered me really was check-in. I wasn't prepared for 2 1/2 hour ordeal was we arrived (visiting Disney World is all about time-saving). Spacious rooms, with kitchen & dining area. Room had a safe. Also washer and drier, jacuzzi bath tub, music system, DVD player etc. The screened balcony is nice.
