Sheer Cover Mineral Makeup —

Sheer Cover was NO cover for me. It did seem to settle into every line and it seemed to look irredesent on my skin. It also seemed to make my skin appear even more dry. I noticed the bristles sticking to my skin as well. When I saw how beautiful everyone looked on the info-mercial after they applied it the light bulb went off in my head...maybe this is the one. In the last few years my pores have gotten larger and make up sometimes will settle into them and Sheer Cover was no exception. I must say that I did get a complete refund from them and that's the only reason I gave it a star at all. I had wanted it to do the same for me as I saw it do for them and after I saw the girl cover her birthmark, well, that's what got me sold. I won't say they "cheated" with lighting effects but I've used alot of make-up in my 47 yrs so I know how to apply it by now. I did work with it for a few weeks to give it a even chance. Don't know how they did it but if "they" had come along with the package maybe it would have looked better on me. I have tried a couple of other mineral make -ups since and they have worked pretty much the same way for me. I'm at the point where I don't really want to spend my money to try any of the others now, even though when I see demonstrations they look like they'd work great too. It has always seemed a little strange when the instructions always say apply to "clean" skin...I mean, after all they're minerals from the earth...isn't that almost "dirt"? Hey, if dirt can make me look great and help my skin as well, I'd dip my whole body in it! I have had my eye on Bare Minerals for awhile...a quitter never wins...

I have sensitive skin that leans toward the dry side. I don't think this will work for me. But I have heard it can also be applied wet. Have you tried it this way? At least you got your money back.
