When I saw (and paid attention to) the new Sharpie commercial, I realized it was different. I love Sharpie markers, so when I realized Sharpie came out with an actual pen, I was happy. I ran out to Staples to get it. Well, first I checked online to see where I could get the best deal. I could only find the new pen at Staples. The new Sharpie Pen 4 pack at Staples is $6.99 plus tax, which isn't too bad.
As soon as I got home I had to try it. It claims to not bleed through paper, and it really doesn't!. This is a big plus. The pen writes very smoothly and glides like a good ball point.

The Sharpie Pen was developed since consumers were wanting to have a pen that Sharpie would make and would last a long time, just like their markers, and high-lighters. The consumers spoke and Sharpie listened! Sharpie markers have had a great fan base, and I do think that the Sharpie Ink Pens will have some fans too.
The Sharpie Pens are in the colors...
read full review »Okay, I'm a Sharpie fanatic. I admit it. I'll also admit that I really, really love a good pen. In fact, my sister has claimed that I have a borderline inappropriate relationship with office supplies, after seeing just HOW many pens I carry with me at any given time. I color-code my life, write everything down, and expect to use a pen that works and gives me great lines and color, or else. I won't throw a pen away, but I will donate it to a cashier at the grocery store if I hate it.
I saw Sharpie pens in the stores around Christmastime this past year, and bought a set of two for my own...
read full review »I was very skeptical about the new fine point Sharpie pen, but my daughter talked me into buying it. I love pens. I know it is weird, but I like bright and smooth writing pens. There is always a need for permanent markers, but they usually bleed through the paper and not for every day use. Sharpie has taken care of that problem. The new Sharpie pen is fantastic. I use it every day to write checks, write grocery list, etc. I even showed it to my office manager and asked her to buy me some to use at work.
I bought the blue sharpie pen. It is an amazing blue, kinda a lighter and brighter...
read full review »I am also penaholic! Fascinated with stationery since childhood. I tried these Sharpie Pens and enjoyed the smoothness of the pen, but since it lacks a a rubber grip, it was not comfortable for me to hold. I also concur that the blue was too light for me. My favorite pen of all time is the Pentel Energel 0.7.
