When I saw (and paid attention to) the new Sharpie commercial, I realized it was different. I love Sharpie markers, so when I realized Sharpie came out with an actual pen, I was happy. I ran out to Staples to get it. Well, first I checked online to see where I could get the best deal. I could only find the new pen at Staples. The new Sharpie Pen 4 pack at Staples is $6.99 plus tax, which isn't too bad.
As soon as I got home I had to try it. It claims to not bleed through paper, and it really doesn't!. This is a big plus. The pen writes very smoothly and glides like a good ball point.
There are some cons. The pen still looks like a marker which disappointed me. The grip is similar to Sharpie thin markers, it has no comfort. I probably would not use it to write long papers or for any long period of time, but it is great for quick notes.
Sharpie Pens come in four colors: Black, blue, green, and red. I bought the variety pack with one of each color, but they offer packs of single colors also.
Overall, a thumbs up to the new Sharpie Pens! What will they think of next?!
