Sharpie is a wonderful marker that is great for home or office use. They come in a wide array of colors for different projects and tastes. There are also a range of different tips for if you prefer fine tip to wide. Sharpie has now come out with retractable permanent markers. I love to use a sharpie because I know the color is not going to fade, bleed, or smudge whether you are writing on paper, plastic, or metal. There is definitely a sharpie for you!
