I have used this TV in my bedroom for awhile now, and have been satisfied. The picture quality while watching TV and movies is fine. My PS3 games look fantastic. The TV does need some careful adjustments to the color settings to get a good, accurate picture, but once you do that it should be alright. The real problem is the size. You will not regret getting a larger TV. The difference between this and my new 26 inch display is huge. A larger TV is worth the extra cost. As a computer monitor I would not suggest this. Text as blurry, as with many other TVs, and it can get a b it warm for my taste. HOwever, use it as it is meant to be, for watching TV and even some gaming, and you will have no problems with it. I can not recommend a larger TV enough, but if you want 19 inches this is a good pick.

We were searching for a small television for my daughters room.  I knew she would use it alot, either watching television or watching dvd's and I needed one to last.  We found and purchased the Sharp LC-19SB27UT and have been using it for several months now.  It can not be considered a "second" television for the house, since its on every day for several hours after school, and all weekend long, practically.  So far to date, I am quite pleased with our purchase as far as quality goes.  We have not had any technical issues to deal with.  It is still working like the day we brought it home.  It was extremely easy to set up and begin using.  We have her playstation hooked up to and it is easy to switch back and forth from television to the playstation.  The on screen menu is very easy to understand and follow.  It also has a pc input which we are not using, as well as a HDMI hookup.  Since she is currently watching dvd's on the playstation, we do not have any other items hooked up to it at this time, although we could and that is a nice option if it were to be moved to another room in the house.  The quality of the HD picture far exceeded my expectations from a 19inch screen, even at an angle, the picture is great. The televison is just big enough for her room, and its slim design makes it very practical.  The base that holds the television is not too big as with some other models we looked at.  However, it is plenty sturdy enough, as it needs and should be to keep it from tipping over easily.  I find this Sharp model to be very affordable and superb in quality for the size and cost of the unit.  I would recommend it to anyone who desires simple set up and expects long time usage.

The Sharp LC19SB27UT is a very good TV that has given no problems in a years worth of use. It was a gift so whether it is a comparably good TV for its price is unknown to me. But in the simple terms of having it as an extra TV along with our primary, it does the job well enough. It's 19" and doesn't have too large of a base, so it fits on a ledge in our kitchen quite well. The viewing angles are adequate as are the colors and contrast. Other 19" TV's I've seen can suffer substantially from different viewing angles but this one does appear superior to them which is one reason I'm very happy with this given it's place in a kitchen where we are constantly in different locations. However, in regards to the color and contrast, it does not look as good as our primary television, but by playing with calibration settings, it can look better than it does stock, hence why I do not consider the color/contrast to be an issue. Overall, this is a good secondary TV that does the job adequately for the kitchen. It delivers in all the important factors, has all the connectivity I expect of an HDTV, and decent audio. If this TV is available to you at a competitive price, I would fully recommend it.

Hey this TV is neat it has different styles of inputs and has head phone conveintly placed on the reverse side of the left side. The remote control also is very cool. It is large enough to watch a movie and also the brand is very kool.

I love my Sharp TV. We bought it about 4 months ago and just love the picture quality and the sound quality that we get from it. My husband and I love to watch movies with our two children and this TV allows us to do that in HD. It's a great buy and we have been very happy with it so far. My kids use it to watch educational movies for school and to watch movies on Friday nights. I have been very impressed with the picture quality-especially considering the price of the television. You wouldn't think that you could spend so little and get such good quality, but thanks to Sharp, you can. I think our next television will definitely be a Sharp. I would love to get one of their larger HDTVs and so would my husband. You just cannot beat Sharp for price and quality when it comes to LCD HDTVs. I think they are phenomenal. I love the features that Sharp offers on some of it's TVs and wish my smaller one had some of them but I guess I'll just have to wait until I get a bigger one! Overall, this is a great buy.
