Right now I am on my second Sharp Carousel 700-watt microwave oven.  After getting about 3 years of use from the first one, some of the numbers on the keypad quit working - for instance, i had to set it for 60 seconds if I wanted a minute because the "1" stopped working.  I gave it away to a friend who was willing to put up with it.  Liking the size and features, I got another of the same brand and model.  I've had this microwave for about 3 years, too, and so far have had no problem with the numbers dying on me, so the first one may have been defective.  The Sharp Carousel does everything...
