SHARP is an understatement!

I've had this television for about a year now. I did hours of on-line and in-store research on flat panel televisions and this Sharp Aquos LC-52D82U 52 inch HDTV LCD TV had the best overall qualities and features for the price. The picture is extremely clear and the color is beautiful. I won't bore you with all of the technical specifications that you can find on the Sharp website but will give you my opinion on the function and design.

What I Like:
- When using the correct equipment like HD cable and HD-DVD's the LCD is brilliant.

Perfect size, best picture for your money.

Awesome without HD cable/dish, Unbelievable with. The remote is easy to navigate and all programming is so easy.

I only give 4 stars because of the sound. By itself it is not good. You absolutely have to have it hooked up to some kind of speaker system or surround sound. Be prepared for additional cost for the best sound to match the beautiful picture.

The Sharp Aquos LCD TV is the best I have seen. It is not quite as slim as some Samsungs, but the picture is spectacular. It is really well above average.
