Sharp - Aquos LC-46D62U 46 in. HDTV LCD Television Review

No question this a great tv for the money (purchased it on black friday for a very resonable price)My only complaint was the fact that when I took tv out of the box it had already outdated firmware , had to download a newer version firmware first hour i owned it. Now this may be a comon problem with all lcd tvs but now that tvs are really a computer which most people dont know (there use to crts where you plug them in and dont do anything to them)But with our more modern digital tvs aka computers (thus firmware upgrades) people need to keep track of the firmware upgrades and like computers the upgrades may not do anything noticeable but should be downloaded and applied to the tv.In my case the tv would shut itself off or change channels by itself, I upgraded firmware  the tv was fixed who would of thought of that with the old analog tvs? Thus everyone needs to pay attention to the firmware upgrades by going to there manufacture web sites and go to product support downloads firmware .All in all the sharp is a very good tv and will be a welcome addition to anyones home
