Sharp's Window Air Conditioner is easy to use, easy to install and keeps the room Frosty!  My husband likes it cold to sleep and this unit does it with minimal power usage.  It is an Energy Star appliance which is great.  It has a reusable, washable filter and a remote control.  The LCD temperature readout lets you know exactly where you're setting it and where it will maintain the room temperature.  My only complaint is it isn't quiet and takes awile to get used to the noise to sleep.
