This T.V is handsdown the best television ive had in a while. Everything about it just makes you say wow. It has the Perfect Size, It is not to big and not to small. Great pictures. Great Sound. Not to heavy. Good brand. The controller is very easy to handle and understand. It has many option of INPUT, with your t.v,dvd, game, satellite. It is also a smart television. You can go on the internet with it. Check emails etc , google the web. You have the youtube channel, can watch videos listen to music and you also have other apps.. Like hulu and other things. GREAT BUY, BEST BUY Picture Quality It has a big picture quality. Like many t.v this has the options for many pictures and one of it best its for sports. If your a big sports fan. It has the best h.d screen for that sunday night or monday night game. Sound Quality Really good volume level Durability By the looks of it its one of those maybe T.V where it could last you 10 years to 15 years. Performance It performs excellent. Sometimes i want to crawl into bed and just watch movies and play Halo with it and not leave the house.

Makes watching at home such a visually appealing experience.

I don't personally own this but had the pleasure of staying at someone's home who did. It was pretty awesome having such a big screen and made watching television shows and movies that much better. The image is crystal clear and since it is so big, you feel very emerged or engaged in what you are viewing. It is an extremely easy set up and television to operate and I would definitely recommend this. Picture Quality Superb visual experience Sound Quality I think the sound was terrific and smooth. Design The design enhances the screen and audio performance. Performance Performs like an exceptional television- clear, sharp picture , and smooth, high-quality sound.

This is THE tv to have!

This is an abosolutely awesome television to own. I upgraded to this from a Vizio 42 inch Plasma Tv. Usually, I am an advocate for plasma tvs over LCD, as the picture is usually more vibrant and crisp when you watch it. Not this time. This TV is an absolute MONSTER in your living room. Not only is it huge, its has a crystal clear picture, especially when hooked up to an HD cable box. Wow. Vibrant pictures, very nice colors, the 1080p ability, sound features, everything seems to add up on this one. By far and away the BEST TV i have EVER owned. Couldn't ask for a better Screen, its not glossy, its a flat finish so you dont get the annoying glare in high light. As far as entertainment value, its the highlight of any Superbowl party, Word Series, or just anything in general as far as sports go. To finish up, i would ABSOLUTELY recommend this to my friends, the price tag is right, the picture is right, you cant go wrong with this one.

Aquos makes every movie like you've never seen it before

5

Aquos makes every movie like you've never seen it before! My old 62 inch Mitsubishi finally gave it up & I had to go find another tv. I like big screens & the store had an 82 inch DLP that was nice...but I just didn't care for the picture. When I saw the LCD picture on the Aquos, I knew that was the tv for me. The colors are brilliant and the detail is incredible. I haven't regretted the choice except that my kids come over to watch their movies on the awesome Aquos display. Every moive that I own has details & colors that I've never noticed in the many times of watching before. The screen also hooks up as a monitor to your pc. My boss at work decided on this tv for his conference room. What can I say? Great minds think alike. I also have my wii hooked up &  I find myself playing games that I was going to get rid of, just because they are so much more fun on the Aquos. This tv can be put on a wall, for rooms with limited space. it's thin & light enough. I haven't done that though, I don't trust my walls. There is no picture-in-picture feature, but I never used that with my last tv so I don't miss it. This tv can freeze an image while continuing to play your show or movie. (not really sure what that's about). The Aquos also has a feature that changes the intensity of the picture to the changing light. This is a great feature that keeps your picture clear & sharp no matter what the lighting. The tv also lets you set up your own captioning...you can pick your font, size & foreground/background colors for closed captioned shows. Another feature that I like is the view mode...you can view a picture in 4 different ways. Side bar has the black bands on the sides of the picture, instead of on the top & bottom. Stretch & smart stretch seem the same to me. These have the black bands on the top & bottom of the screen. Zoom is full screen, you lose some of the picture at the edges. I keep my tv on the smart stretch most of the time, but it's nice to have options. I had some problem setting this tv up on my cable remote, but once I got the code (from my cable website) the set-up went pretty smoothly. The only thing that I haven't liked about the Aquos is that the captioning doesn't automatically come on when the mute button is on...I'd like to find out if this is an option & I just haven't figured out how to do it. I'm looking forward to many years of viewing on the Sharp Aquos. I've only had it since August 2010 & LCD screens are supposed to last for 10-15 years from what I've heard.
