We down sized from a 55" to this 40" in order to get a better quality tv. We made an excellent choice. You can see every color. Sharp Aquos is the only brand to have 4 color technology. Very crisp, clear and like the people are right in your room. Watching tv or a movie on a different tv just doesn't compare. We liked it so much we even got the matching Blu Ray player for it. Also we hooked up a lap top to it and set it up wireless from our main cpu and with a wireless keyboard and mouse and now have a giant screen computer. Update: 7-5-11 Since my review we have gotten ATT Uverse. Just to give you a heads up ... apparently there is a connection problem and everytime we turn the tv on we have to restart the U Verse box in order to get the 720 or 1080 dpi clarity. It could be that ATT just needs more updating on these issues with the higher quality tvs. Other than that our Aquos still has the best picture ever!!!
