Purchased a 32-inch Sharp LCDTV six months ago from Best Buy, and I've been very happy. The colors are vibrant, and the picture is high quality. 

When I went to Best Buy, I was very lacking in my knowledge about televisions.  I can't say the employees were of very much help, either. So, to say the least, I relied on the brand name in Sharp.  I know Sharp has high quality televisions, so that's the brand I went with.

The one and only thing I've not been super impressed with is the sound quality. It's Okay, but just not the greatest.

The sharp lc-32d23u (I believe that is the model number) is a great tv. The picture is of good quality. The menu is pretty extensive and was easy to use when I was setting it up. The price was cheap and I don't really know why because this is as good as some of the higher end lcd hdtvs. I have a 32" in a smaller living space. It suits the room well and was easy to find a tv stand for because it has one large bottom mount that holds the tv up instead of those lcds with two feet that are impossible to find a smaller stand for. The only problem I have is that it does not tilt. It isn't a big deal...

I purchased a Sharp-32" LCD HDTV in March of 09', the picture on the television is wonderful I am highly impressed, however the sound quality is not the best, every now and again the television glitches out in sound and picture, however overall I am impressed but I will be calling Sharp to talk to them about the glitches since I havent had the tv not even a year.  Also, if there is anyone else who has purchased this tv and is having the same problems, please feel free to write back.
