We are on our third year of owning this microwave. We purchased it at a local superstore. Overall, we are very pleased with the heating power of this unit. Its size is perfect for our small kitchen. We have it resting on a small microwave cart and it fits perfectly. As the microwave has aged, cleaning becomes a bit more difficult, especially on the inside of the door. More importantly to my family, is that this unit still heats the food quickly and evenly. Performance You want your microwave to cook things quickly and evenly. This unit does that. We have owned it for three years, and it is still performing well. The carousel feature still spins and we have had no issues with burning or cold food. Settings/Features The buttons and quick cook features are nice to have. I tend to still depress the minutes manually, but other family members like to use the buttons for popcorn, etc. I have always preferred microwaves with a spinning tray, as I feel it helps with even cooking times. The removable tray is easy to clean and put back in the microwave. Ease of Cleaning A few stubborn stains on the door. We typically can clean off most stains with a eraser sponge. Ease of Use Microwaves to me are inherently easy to use. The quick touch buttons on the door are a good shortcut. Durability We have had this model for three years now. Still cooking nicely and evenly. We have a few stubborn stains on the inside door, but no cracks or chips on the outside surface. All buttons still depress and work correctly. Design We have a smaller kitchen so we couldn't have anything too fancy. Sits nicely on our microwave cart.

The Sharp Carousel Microware Oven is very easy to use. The food all cooks evenly on the turntable, so you basically can put your food in and continue making the rest of your meal. It comes with manual operation but has sensor cooking as well. While cooking specific foods, the microwave spells out the operating steps needed and gives cooking hints as well. Initially, I was concerned that there were too many codes and numbers to remember, however the manual given is very specific and easy to follow. After a few times using the microwave, it became easier to use. The touchpad is easy to press and use. The microwave is big enough to cook many items from meals to quick snack items, including popcorn. My favorite sensor is for the baked potato! This microwave also comes with a digital clock and timer. This allows you to coordinate your meal so that it is hot at the same time. I often will have the main part of the meal in the oven and use the microwave to cook vegetables and other side dishes. It couldn't be easier. The micowave design is attractive with a glass door and it fits perfectly on a kitchen counter. We own three of these microwaves and they continue to perform magnificently 9 years after the original purchase. They are easy to clean and the light exterior color tones in beautifully with our neutral base colors. It is the best microwave we have owned in 30 years. Performance Cooks food thoroughly because of the powerful 1200 watt heating unit and the turntable design that spreads the heat around. Settings/Features Very easy to understand and the one minute add button makes engaging the unit a snap. Ease of Cleaning A damp cloth or even a dry towel will easily clean the interior because of moisture buildup from some foods. The exterior responds equally well to a damp cloth and stays clean but for dust. Ease of Use Easy to start and operate with minimal effort; few buttons to push to engage the food cooking process. Durability Our oldest has been in continuous use (six times a day or more) for over 9 years and continues to perform beautifully. Design Clean lines, neutral colors. Blends into kitchen decor effortlessly.

I needed a new microwave for my breakfast nook and this time I did not have to spend countless hours shopping and viewing tons of microwaves as I knew without a doubt Sharp makes a great inexpensive good quality long lasting microwave. I had previously owned a Sharp microwave and really liked the way it worked as it kept true to the temperature as well as it was long lasting in fact when I redid my kitchen I even was able to sell my existing one as it still was in good condition and worked! Sharp microwaves are also very easy to keep up with as they are super easy to clean! They also have a great outside design which is very striking! They also keep their prices down and are very affordable for everyone. The next time you are in the market for a microwave definitely check out Sharp brand as they are great and last a very long time! The smaller ones are great for girts such as bridal showers too!

We recently purchased this microwave after deciding that we were ready for something new. This is a large microwave and works very well. You can fit a good sized dish in there. I usually make my cheesburgers in it (I have a browning tray that I use). It cooks food evenly and thoroughly providing that you use the correct heat and time settings. It even came with a cookbook that has lots of wonderful recipes to make in this microwave. Cook everything from main course foods to desserts. There are several preset cooking buttons such as a "popcorn" button that times the popping of a bag of microwave popcorn perfectly. No need to stand there listening for the popping to stop so you can take the bag out before the popcorn burns. It's wonderful for my kids to make themselves a quick hot snack. And it is very easy to clean this microwave. Overall I am very happy with this purchase and would highly recommend it to anyone.

It is easy to use and understand and will last a good amount of time. When I first buy a microwave, I want to see the heat quality and how long the product last. Rest assured, I was not disappointed. Performance The cooking time and heat ensure that the food is cooked properly. I can cook something and not have to worry about having a hot bowl of cold spaghetti. Settings/Features The given features are all convenient. I feel that the preset times are accurate enough. Ease of Cleaning It's interior is simple and more or less a box. There is no hassle to cleaning it Ease of Use The microwave is easy to figure out and after that becomes very straightforward. Durability The microwave does not malfunction after a simple bump into a wall. I have not tried to attack my microwave but I've accidentally bumped it into things at times and it still worked. Mine is a pretty low voltage I guess because it takes a long time to get the food warmed up. My previous microwave that sadly broke was much better and got the food warmed up in seconds. I also don't really care for the design of this microwave it is not very sleek it just looks like something you would see in a college dorm room I prefer a more grown up looking microwave in my kitchen but as the price was fair and it was on sale at the time we went with this one. It works alright we haven't had trouble with it but like I said it's not the best. This microwave performs okay and has been in working order it is easy for us to keep clean and we keep it on our counter it is also a good size not too big nor small for our kitchen. Performance Doesn't warm food fast enough. Settings/Features They could have more. Ease of Cleaning I've never had any problems cleaning it all inner parts pop out with ease. Ease of Use Very simple to use. Durability So far so good but we have only had it about a year.. Design I don't care for the look of it.

Although Consumer Reports did not rate Sharp microwaves as very reliable at the time of my purchase (2003), mine is still running without a repair in 2013! Performance I like the extra wattage and 14.5" turntable. Settings/Features Every setting one could want. Ease of Cleaning A cup of diluted ammonia on High for one minute, let sit for 10 minutes for easy cleaning. The turntable is heavy glass and lifts out for cleaning. Ease of Use Can be set to minutes and also has many standard food settings that cook well. Durability Ten years of constant use without a repair or problem. Design The design is excellent except it is very loud. Although this is a counter-top model, I have it on a shelf over the range (wedged in at the top because the micro is deeper than is my cabinet.

I do not have a lot of space and need a compact microwave. This microwave has many features and settings.It is easy to handle and carry. Ihave it on my countertop and it fits well and is easy to maneuver. This microwave was a good buy. People on a budget can afford it. I can clean it easily and efficiently with no problem. My sharp carousel microwave oven is very durable and built to last.The design is awesome and spectacular. You can place it over a range as well as countertop.
