Received this as a Christmas present and couldn't be happier. I live in a 3-floor, carpeted stairs (2 flights) unit. Vacuuming stairs at my age (70) was always a problem. Bending, carrying unit, awkward size -- all made this a much dreaded and neglected chore. The Shark unit has solved my problems and made it easy, almost enjoyable, to do the stairs and the rest of my floors. It's lightweight, yet efficient and I find myself using it for the majority of my vacuuming now. It's powerful, small enough to get under chairs without moving and cleans close to the baseboards.
