Shark Carpet Sweeper —

I've had 3 of the Shark Sweepers and they are very convenient and inexpensive. Some models have a brush for getting into corners and this is a big plus, because the models without it do not pickup close to the wall as easily. This vacuum does well enough on area rugs, but I wouldn't recommend it to someone with only carpet flooring. The only other drawback I've had, is with the rechargeable batteries. My first Shark stopped charging after 3 months, the second after 6 months. I've had my latest for a year and use it daily, but it also is beginning to not hold a charge as well. I have followed the directions and run the battery down before charging, but this doesn't seem to work in all cases. Overall I do recommend this vacuum; just don't expect it to be with you more then a few years.
