I've been investing through Sharebuilder for about 5 years. They offer stocks and ETFs Exchange Traded Funds. The Automatic Investment Plan makes it easy to add to your portfolio on a regular basis. Sharebuilder and ING recently merged and the new real-time trade rate is now $9.95.
