Most HelpfulTake one tall glass of milk. Knock it over with your elbow. SPLAT! Milk on the arm of the chair, on the seat of the chair, in the magazine rack (sorry, Family Circle) and onto the carpet. Quel mess!
Is this a test or what? Bring out the new ShamWow!s, small blue and huge (20"X23.5") yellow...

Most HelpfulI wanted Sham Wow ever since I saw that guy do the commercial. My friend got them for me for my birthday. I was SO excited. Then I used one. It did soak up the water that was overflowing from my coffee maker, however, it did smear it around too. One pass certainly was not enough for about a cup of...
review »I was totally taken in by the Sham wow ads on TV. I assumed they would work as great as the infomercials. I picked up a box at the store and used one--it worked...but pretty much like any other absorbant towel. I have dogs, so I mostly wanted them for pet spills and accidents. They work well for that--but nothing astonishing. I saw some tests done on other TV shows and the results of the Sham wows were pretty disappointing. The infomercial shows the sham soaking up spilled soda from under a carpet square. The same test was done on another show and it didnt get any of the soda that was...
review »Sham Wow is good if you constantly spill gallons of water. Other than that it won't soak up all the water. You can soak up the majority of the water and then after go back and wipe it dry with a rag or paper towel. Don't waste your money. This product is basically like a thick version of those blue paper towels they used to have at the gas station. I even went as far to fill up a cup of water like they do on the infomercials and then attempted to transfer the liquid to another cup. The test results were and the sham wow got a big fat D! yes some water went into the sham-wow but at least half...
review »I picked up some Sham Wows at flea market a fews years ago and swear by these things.
There have been alot of pros and cons about these towels, but I love them! What the infomercials claim about this product I have actually done myself. If there is a big mess on the floor, I no longer reach for the mop, I will get out my Shaw Wows! They do soak up alot of liquid.
I use these in the kitchen religiously. The towel under my dish drainer is a Sham Wow! My dishrag is a Sham Wow! I use them to clean up water around the sink. I even used one recently to clean out my stand up freezer when I defrosted...
review »Do not waste your money on the Sham Wow product. It is a sham as far as I am concerned. I am usually not into buying off the TV informercials, but it got my attention, so I ordered it. Used it on drying my car off after washing. It was not very absorbent. It just kept smearing the water around. It did absorb some of the water, but not as they mention on the commerical. I finally had to go and get a regular type of rag to finish drying the car off. It has kind of a rough type of texture and was afraid of it leaving scratch type marks on our car. Also bulky hard to handle. I gave one of the...
review »The Sham Wow cloths did not "Wow" me. I've tried them on spills and they do pick up the spill but no better than anything else I've used. I've also used them on hand washables to get a lot of the water out and that was a dud too. I get as much water out with a terry cloth towel. From the look and feel of them I think I could have gone to the auto supply store and purchased some chamois cloths and had the same result. WAY overpriced for what you get. At least they got the "Sham" part right. Add the "e" and you get that it's a "shame" I spent $20 on these cloths!
