Blue Eucalyptus & Lavender
I have finally found a laundry detergent that gives me what I want and what I need (other than a magic wand to wave away laundry) in the laundry room.
What I need in a laundry detergent:

Most HelpfulI love that it is a natural based product... but Seventh Gen has fallen a bit short...
It is too pricey for my family of 5 on a budget. I also am not crazy about the eucalyptus scent. I could overlook these issues with coupons and a using the free clear. or the new cranberry scent. but I don't...
review »I am a long time user of Tide, but when I heard that switching to a non petroleum based product would save barrel upon barrel of oil per year I had to switch. Now, I believe that Tide really does clean the best, but a very very close second is Seventh Generation Natural 2x Concentrated Laundry Detergent. It comes in several "natural" scents, including a citrus scent, a white flower based scent and Target has their own red flower scent. my DH loves that they also have an unscented version, he likes his clothes to "smell like clothes."
I can get my clothes clean and fresh while not actively harming...
review »I bought Seventh Generation laundry detergent because I do my best to support cruelty free products over their animal-testing, immoral rivals (most namely Procter and Gamble...who do test on animals AND seem to be cornering the market on household goods, laudry detergent included!) and I was pleasantly surprised at how well it works. It cleans well, smells good and helps me feel better about the roll I play in the fight against animal cruelty. The only problem I have with it is it is fairly hard to find in my small town. Only one store carries it and they do not keep their stock replenished well....
review »I am a person who looks at what is in the product before I buy it. I like Seventh Generation Products and this detergetn is no exception. I do think they have a line of earth friendly, dependable products. Clothes come out clean and fresh. I would love to see the cost go down a little more. If they use less ingredients, shouldn't it cost less? You can sign up on their website and they will give you access to the coupons, which come in handy. Watch for the products to go onsale then use the coupons. The coupons don't last long once you print them, I think about 4 weeks, so print when you know you...
review »I heard about these products when I got pregnant and was go glad I did! Not only are these products Earth-Friendly but I feel safe using them around my kids. They come in lots of great scents and they work just as well as the harsh chemicals. Yes, they are a bit pricey, but I always stock up when I see them on sale. I use the unscented detergent for my kids' cloth diapers, and the Blue eucalyptus and lavender fragrance on my towels and sheets. The detergent leaves my sheets and towels soft and smelling great. I have a front-loading washer and haven't had any problems.
