Seventh Generation Natural 2X Concentrated Laundry Detergent Blue Eucalyptus & Lavender —

I am a long time user of Tide, but when I heard that switching to a non petroleum based product would save barrel upon barrel of oil per year I had to switch. Now, I believe that Tide really does clean the best, but a very very close second is Seventh Generation Natural 2x Concentrated Laundry Detergent. It comes in several "natural" scents, including a citrus scent, a white flower based scent and Target has their own red flower scent. my DH loves that they also have an unscented version, he likes his clothes to "smell like clothes."

I can get my clothes clean and fresh while not actively harming the environment, that is a clean that I can get behind. We have a HE lanudry front loading maching. Because I use a scented version and DH uses unscented we buy laundry detergent maybe 6 times a year, I like that. I can find this at my local grocery store as well as at Target. Well worth the effort to find this Seventh Generation Laundry Detergent.

Really, I am going to have to look into that. I love me some Tide, but I cant justify using it when there are products that work (nearly) as well and are better for the earth.

In my search for the perfect laundry detergent I might have to pick this up the next time I'm at Super Target! But I do beleive Tide markets a "green" formula now.
