I was not very happy with this product. I purchased it after my friend told me about it. She had said she really liked it, so I got it too. Unfortunately, I did not agree with her views on the product. It is supposed to be a cleaner for glass and surfaces (like mirrors, etc). This spray left a lot of streaks on my mirrors and on my patio door when I used it. I had to spray and clean several times before I was happy with the outcome. Even then, I felt as though I should clean again with my normal glass cleaner to really get the job done. The spray bottle clogged as well after about two weeks. For the price, I was expecting a much better product. If I had not had a coupon when I purchased this product, I would have not bought it at all because it is expensive. Also, I was not a fan of the scent of Seventh Generation Glass and Surface Cleaner. I will not be purchasing this product again and it is not one that I would recommend.

Seventh generation makes the environmentally responsible and effective household products and the "Seventh Generation Glass and Surface Cleaner" is one among those. It is a plant-based formula which is non-toxic, non-irritating to skin, and does not create harsh fumes. It is free of harmful chemicals such as chlorine, ammonia, strong acids, or petroleum-based ingredients. It is biodegradable too, good for use on any glass, windows, mirrors, countertops or for that matter any non porous surface except for unfinished wood and fine furniture. I find those cleaners the best which do not emit the fumes, which are harmful or uncomfortable to breathe in, and for the same reason I liked this one as well. Just spray and wipe and all you have is streak free, shiny surface. I loved this environmentally responsible product which does not bring tears to my eyes while cleaning around!

I recently switched from using Windex glass cleaner to Seventh Generation glass cleaner because I have been making an effort to use less chemicals when I'm cleaning. I really like this glass cleaner because I can use it on all my glass doors, windows, and mirrors in my home and it gives me a really nice streak free clean without all of the harsh chemicals that typical glass cleaners contain. I feel good using this even on the glass door that my son always tries to put his mouth on! I was initially hesitant to switch to this glass cleaner because sometimes organic products don't work as well as regular products but I have come to find that I am always pleasantly surprised with Seventh Generation products. They're always really effective! The smell of this glass cleaner can take some getting used to but now I actually really enjoy the smell and it makes my home smell really clean! I would highly recommend Seventh Generation glass cleaner!

I am thrilled with this as a glass cleaner. It's all natural, though not 100 % organic but I love the concept of products that are all natural and do not have harsh dyes, perfumes, and chemical additives. This stuff really works. I feel like I get just as good of a clean as other brands with it. It isn't as great as Windex but I get a fairly streak free shine with this as long as I'm careful to wipe thoroughly when I remove it off the glass. I like using it on my car too because it's all natural and I'm not as concerned that something in it may strip away my paint. I live in the hills and my glass gets grimy on my SUV so I like to take glass cleaner to it. It's so much more effective than the cleaner that my wipers puts out. Overall I think it's a great glass cleaner, especially considering it's all natural. I work a little harder to prevent streaks but it's worth it. As a multi surface cleaner, it's okay. I don't think it cuts through grime and grease as well as other products but it's fair and with a little elbow grease, you get essentially the same effect while knowing you're being environmentally conscious. Performance You have to put a little more effort in but it's worth it for the natural product. Scent The scent is okay. It's not harsh or anything and doesn't last very long. It's alright and smells clean.

Even though I don't actively seek out eco-friendly products I do like to try Seventh Generation products to see if they work better than what I am currently using. I have scent sensitivity and certain cleaners irritate my throat. I got a bottle of this to try for cleaning the inside of windows and for the bathroom counters, stovetop and the inside of the kitchen sink. This works well on the stainless steel kitchen sink and on the counters in the bathroom but on the windows it wasn't as effective as Windex for removing dirt. I had to do the windows two or three times to get streaks off of them and when I used it on the outside of the windows I gave up because it did nothing for the splash back from mud, bird poop and paw prints from the dogs. If you don't mind putting a little extra work into cleaning your windows this is worth trying but when I used it on the large mirrors in the dining room and in the hallway I had hue streaks from the dirt so it seemed like all it did was move the dirt around rather than clean it up. I did try this with a couple of different rags thinking that maybe someone had used a dryer sheet with the rags that I use for cleaning. Depending on the dryer sheet, some can leave streaks behind on glass and mirrors regardless of the type of cleaner that you are using. Even though this didn't work as well as I hoped, I would recommend it to those who are scent sensitive or who have sensitive skin. Performance It works on counters and sinks but will leave streaks on heavily soiled windows and mirrors. Scent There is no scent added to this.

I love Seventh Generations products because they are much more natural and environmentally friendly than some of the other popular brands. Their glass cleaner works well, although I do find that it does leave streaks at times. I don't think it does the absolute best job as compared to a product like Glass Plus, but for the most part it gets the job done and leaves your glass looking clean. I have tried this on my bathroom mirrors as well as some of my kitchen windows, and overall I am pleased with it. Performance I only had a few problems with it streaking my mirrors, but nothing I couldn't get rid of by wiping over it again. All in all it does clean glass well, but I did have some streaking problems when trying to clean my bathroom mirrors. I'd say it does work well, but if your looking for a perfect streak-free finish, you may need to go with another brand. Scent It smells like an ordinary glass cleaner, and it does not leave behind any scent or odor.

Unfortunately, the reality of some "natural" cleaners is that they just plain don't work as well as their conventional counterparts. Happily, this is definitely not the case with Seventh Generation's Glass Cleaner. It works just as well as the more mainstream brands, and I love that it is safer, especially as a mom with young children at home. This product cleaned all of the fingerprints (and there are a lot!) off my glass windows quite easily. Just spray and wipe, and you're done. After drying, there were no streaks on the glass. It does exactly what it's supposed to do. I love that Seventh Generation offers this product in a Free and Clear variety. Glass cleaner isn't something that I need to have a scent in, especially if that scent is made of unhealthy chemicals as most are. This is a perfect product if you're looking to buy a glass cleaner with more natural ingredients.

I have tried lots of glass and surface cleaners. Seventh Generation Glass and Surface Cleaner gets the "best of" description because it cleans just as good as other products (sometimes better) and is eco-friendly from it's label and packaging to what's inside. It's not that much more expensive than other window, glass and mirror cleaners, but to be honest for the most part I'm happy with a paper towel, microfiber cloth or newspaper and a bottle of vinegar. They smell about the same. Clean about the same. But at least with Seventh Generation Glass and Surface Cleaner my bottle is already made up, I don't spill it and no one in the house complains about the scent like they do white vinegar. Seventh Generation Glass and Surface Cleaner is a very good product for the green household and this is the main reason we sampled this product at first. The all- natural ingredients and lack of toxins means it won't harm the environment the way other cleaners will and it also means there is less worry for children. With other cleaners, I am always careful to keep the young ones out of the way until the cleaner has dried completely, due to the toxic nature of most cleaning agents. There is no such worry with Seventh Generation Glass and Surface Cleaner. It cleans without harsheness and adds a needed element of safety to your routine. i love this brand of cleaners. no fumes, nothing scary. i really wanted to love this stuff. i just like it, though i do like it a lot. it cleans well, getting rid of fingerprints on my stainless appliances and greasy smudges on the countertops. what knocks it down a star is that it streaks a little on the windows and glass front oven. but beyond that, it is a very adequate cleaner. i just wish it was a little less pricey - far more than a lot of the other brands, and worlds higher than a bottle of white vinegar which cleans well without the streaking. however, i do use this, and use it more often than anything else - go to the seventh generation website, and they have coupons and deals all of the time. it's worth the effort to get a good all purpose cleaner.
