I used to be a dedicated Pampers diapers user with my three girls.  After everything in the news about the rashes and my newest little one being sensitive I decided to play it as safe as I could and go with Seventh Generation.  Actually we are a cloth diapering family, but use disposables from time to time on vacation, etc.

On one vacation this summer, my  6 month old wore these diapers for almost a week.  They worked wonderfully!  Everyone commented on the tan color and the lack of bright cartoony figures, but I thought it was refreshing.  We did not have any leaks overnight.  I think she did leak poop out of them a couple of times, but nothing too major.

I like that Seventh Generation discloses all their ingredients (not so with Pampers) and cares about the environment.  I feel like buying these diapers (aside from using cloth most of the time!) is the best choice out there.  They are soft and fit my baby nicely as well.

Seventh Generation Diapers - the best disposables!

Overall
Rated 5 out of 5

These are hands-down my favorite diapers. The fit, although a little small, is just right for my baby and I haven't had a problem with blowouts or leakage since we've started using them. I love the fact that these are plain light beige, without any annoying cartoon characters on the band. But best of all, I feel confident that my baby isn't wearing chlorine or any other nasty chemicals next to his skin all day. We haven't had any major problems with diaper rash either, which I attribute to the lack of weird chemicals. If you're not cloth diapering, this is the best disposable option out there.

Make sure you read the other reviews which tell you how to buy these cheaply on Amazon! We participate in this deal and get bags of these diapers for about $5 each, or about 12 cents for a size 3 diaper. These beats Costco and most other diaper brands out there.

I have been using the Seventh Generation diapers for two+ years, and have not had any problems with leaks or rashes on my daughter. They are a good compromise from using conventional diapers and cloth. They are better for the environment, and don't use any harsh chemicals to dye them, or used in the absorbent core.

They have good contoring so are good for active babies and toddlers. The elastic tabs stay on well, and have good coverage in the front and back.

They can be a little pricey when compared to conventional brands. I always try and buy them when they are on sale, and combine with coupons. They do have really good prices on them on amazon.com

Even though they are not as good for the environment as using cloth, sometimes using cloth can be unrealistic, so if you are looking for something in between, Seventh Generation is great!

Seventh Generation Best Disposable Diaper

Overall
Rated 4 out of 5

We just recently tried Seventh Generation Diapers and wish we would have sooner. Our daughter (2nd child) was having problems sleeping through the night, if she was the slightest bit wet. So we decided to give these a try since they were about the only ones we hadn't. They are amazing!!! They hold more than I have ever seen a diaper hold and keep her dry for a very long time. Also if she has diaper rash all I have to do is put one of these diapers on and it will clear up within hours. No diaper cream needed. You never have to worry about sensitivity or skin irritation since these diapers are organic and chlorine free. No need to worry about your child being exposed to chemicals etc. They are...

next best to cloth

Overall
Rated 5 out of 5

These diapers are great. I did cloth diapers for most of my babies but used this when out and about. Very absorbant! I am now using the Seventh Generation Pull ups. They work great too! Chlorine free and super easy to dispose of. They do not have a funny odor to them like the pampers or huggies when your child urinates. These are a must for any family that want to save on the enviroment but do not want to go cloth. These are always in my diaper bag for a quick accident too and in the car. I have purchased these at the grocery store and also on diapers.com. You can use points at diapers.com which is great and fantastic to let others know about it. I have not used the seventh generation newborn diapers but have heard they are great too. The wipes are very absorbant and do not dry out at all. They are great to use when potty training too and to have in your purse for on the go spills and accidents.

They even LOOK like earth-friendly diapers! ;)

Overall

I had a coupon to get a relatively good discount on some seventh generation diapers last month, and since we ran out of our other brand (Huggies) I decided to stop in at Toys R Us and get a pack, as I knew they were one of the places that sold the Seventh Generation baby products.  I easily found it in the back, although their packaging was pretty dull and another brand looked very similar.  The price was decent (with the coupon) but it was higher than I would pay at regular price, so I supposed that it was because of the whole chlorine free thing......anywho, I brought them home (I had purchased size 4) and opened them and my hubby even was surprised, because they were light BROWN...

Hands down, BEST DIAPER!

Overall
Rated 5 out of 5

With my older two boys, I was a huge Pampers fan.  That's all I ever used.  Well, some time has passed and they are 6 and 5 now and I was thinking seriously about the possibility of using cloth diapers.  Well, that didn't happen, needless to say.  But I did find Seventh Generation diapers and I absolutely LOVE them!  I love the fact that they are super absorbant.  We've only had two blow outs, and he was sick at the time...no diaper could have withstood that.  I also love that they are free of chlorine, dyes, and perfumes.  I mean, come on, do you really want all that stuff on your baby's bum?  Also (this may sound stupid) but I really like their ...

Great for a disposable diaper!

Overall
Rated 5 out of 5

We've used Seventh Generation diapers on the occasion that we had to go with a disposable diaper (or exampjle when I gave birth to my 3rd son and I left my oldest 2 boys with my mother and brother for 3 days, it was just easier to leave them with disposables instead of our cloth diapers).  They don't have any funky perfume smells, they're soft, they provide a good fit, and they're very absorbent.  I've read stories about people thinking they're not absorbent at all but I have heavy wetters and they worked perfectly find with my toddler.  He never leaked while wearing them.  They do cost more than other disposables but I think they're well worth it.  They don't contai...

I expected so much more quality for Seventh Generation!

Overall

I am SO disappointed in the Seventh Generation brand diapers that I bought for my son!

I enjoy buying "green" and "all natural" products when I can find them for a reasonable price. When I found the Seventh Generation diapers on sale for only 4.99 a package (the are normally 12.99 at my local grocery store) I was very excited to give them a try. I purchased one package of size 4's.

The first thing that I noticed about these diapers are that they are extremely unattrative. I know that diapers aren't supposed to be cute by any means, but these are an cream color, and have no design whatsoever. I thought it was kind of weird, but by no means a deal breaker. I also noticed that the diapers we...

Seventh Generation Diapers ROCK!

Overall
Rated 5 out of 5

When we had our first child 6 years ago we began the search for an eco concious but high performance diaper.  When we came upon Seventh Generation disposable diapers we knew that we had found our clear winner! The Seventh Generation diapers are everything that we were looking for in a diaper. They are far more Earth friendly than the traditional brands like Huggies, Pampers, and Luvs, and are from a company that really stands behind their products.  The diapers themselves are soft, have repositionable tabs, and hold leaks like the Hoover Dam! One other thing about the Seventh Generation diapers that I love and respect is that they do not feature any type of character design.  ...

only disposable I use

Overall
Rated 4 out of 5

I predominantly use cloth diapers to limit the cost, chemicals, and waste of disposables.  However, I do keep a bag of these handy for nighttime and long car trips where the storage of used cloth diapers would be more than I am willing to commit to.  I have not been disappointed.

Compared to the pampers I was given as a gift, these are much better.  Both allowed occassional leaks and blow outs, but all disposables do.  These were just as absorbant but are free of the chemicals that can irritate little bottoms.  My son had very little diaper rash with these.

These diapers are not white,  but rather they are brown (like cardboard) in color.  I know some peo...

Seventh Generation is absorbant and trim

Overall
Rated 5 out of 5

I am an avid cloth diaper user, but when I went on a two-week road-trip this summer, cloth diapers did not appeal to me. I bought a few packs of these and never regretted it. Although I probably should have bought the next size up, these worked well for my 14 month old and were a good fit, even if on the small side. The only leak I had was when he slept extra-long one morning and there was a compression leak from him being in him seat so long. These do not have the normal smell of a traditional disposable diaper, whether before or after use, and I felt much more comfortable putting these on my son without all the fragrances, bleach, and most other harmful substances. I was put off by the off...

Fabulous, eco-friendly baby butts

Overall
Rated 5 out of 5

Any new mother will want these diapers on their baby's butt. I always used the pricey, bleached, un eco-friendly diapers ( I learned to change after baby #6) like Huggies (before the new organic diapers they just came up with), etc. These diapers look like they are dirty only because they aren't bleached, no latex, perfumes, etc and absorbancy is out of this world! Yes, they are a little spendy vary between $10-$14 a package, but my son does not have the horrible diaper rashes like my past experiences with most other diapers and if he gets one its usually not there for more than 12 hours. This product is a MUst try at least once and everyone would agree that there is no better diaper than the chlorine-free ones. Plus these diapers don't sit in land fills for all eterniy.

easy on the bottom

Overall
Rated 5 out of 5

With my baby's sensitive skin, I was very happy to find Seventh Generation Chlorine-Free diapers. I found that certain other brands that use chlorine to whiten the diapers caused rashes, but these diapers were easy on her skin. No chlorine, no fragrances. I also prefer the fit of these diapers compared to that of Huggies and Pampers--for us this is true of the Newborn-Size 4 diapers and of the 2T-3T pull-ups. I also like that they don't come with the cartoon characters plastered all over them. I much prefer the simple beige color that you can't see through thin cotton pants. Price-wise they are reasonable and only about $1 more than the same sized pack of the other brands. If you find them on sale, it's even better. I highly recommend Seventh Generation diapers.

Love these diapers!

Overall
Rated 4 out of 5

I love these diapers they are soft, very absorbent, and fit well. I had been using Pamper's Swaddlers which I really liked a lot, but knowing that there was a more environmentally friendly option out there I had to try them. I was not disappointed. The Seventh Generation diapers are far better than I would have expected. Having used other Seventh Generation paper products which are scratchy and have a funky smell, I expected the diapers to be stiff and unappealing. In fact they are quite the opposite. The diapers are soft and fit well. So far no leaks either, even at night. I have tried other eco friendly diapers, but these are by far the best in every respect (softness, fit, absorbency).
