Seven Deadly Wonders — 

Anything by Matthew Reilly is good, but this is the beginning of a serial story. It was excellent and now I'm reading the second which is The 6 Sacred Stones. The action never stops and the characters are widely different from each other. If you like action, you have to read Matthew Reilly.
