Sesame Street Elmo's Potty Time Reviews

When my daughter was potty training, my husband bought her this DVD to get her more excited about it.  You can't ever expect a DVD to do the training for you, but it doesn't hurt to have a little assistance.  Elmo made it fun, and even today, my daughter enjoys watching it, as we feel she sometimes needs reminders about hand-washing.

This video has been popular with all the children I know, from those who are trained to those who aren't ready to start.  And all ages like it too; they all love Elmo!

This video stars Elmo and the rest of the Sesame Street characters, so kids are already very familiar with the cast.  It also takes the approach that everyone learns to use the potty "in their own way and in their own time."  This was important to me, especially since my oldest son was a late trainer, and I wanted to encourage him without suggesting that he was doing anything wrong in not already using the potty.  Over the course...

My daughter loves to watch Elmo's Potty Time.  Her potty chair is identical to his which helps I think.  She likes all of the songs and it gets her excited to use the potty for at least an hour after she watches it.  I am not sure if it is really helping her with potty training, but it certainly isn't hurting!
