This chair has several great features to love. The first thing is the amount of cushioning it contains. The back of the chair is super comfortable and ergonomic so I can sit in it all day without any back pain. The bottom of the chair is also heavily padded. I can sit flat on it all day long without my posterior going numb or becoming uncomfortable. The chair has an adjustment in the back to be able to adjust the chairs ability to lean back. It doesn't lean back as far as some chairs I've had but it does let me lean back a significant amount if I just want to kick back. I don't get nervous that I'm going to flip the chair over when I lean it back. Another option this chair has is the ability to adjust the height of the seat for the users comfort. I am a taller women so I like being able to sit up higher, however, if I am at my table and not my desk, I need to be able to adjust my seat down lower for comfort and ergonomics sake. It has a pump action to pump the chair up and a release to lower the seat back down. The downfall of this chair and perhaps the only thing I am not a fan of is the fact that the wheels do not have a lock. The bottom of the chair rolls which makes it easier for me to move around my den, however, the wheels do not lock so sometimes I will slip and slide without actually intending on moving. Overall it's a comfortable, plush computer chair and works great.

I'm very experienced in many Serta products so when my husband needed a new office chair and saw this one on sale, I leaped at the chance to get the last one. My husband is a big guy, 6'5 and 240 pounds of mostly muscle, so I needed an extra big chair to fit him. Though comfortable at first, soon the chair "cushions" went flat. Even though the weight limit was at 350lbs, he had issues with the mechanisms that keep the chair at a proper height. The chair is also loud enough that I could hear it all the way across the hall when he moved. After a while it became a hindrance to him when he was conducting business in his office. So, I took it to use and gave him my chair. Even though I'm much lighter than my husband, the chair mechanism still kept lowering at the most inopportune moments. I put my own cushions on the seat to make up for the uncomfortable flatness that occurred. No matter how you sit on the chair, you can't get comfortable. I shouldn't have had to "fix" a chair that was less than a month old. After two months, the "leather" started to crack and peel. This is not proper for the activeness of an office. Serta needs to stick to mattresses and leave the office products up to other companies.

Before our purchase of the Serta At Home Big and Tall Office Chair, I didn't know that such chairs existed in a plus model to appeal to the big and tall community. This chair holds quite a bit of weight, my husband and I can both sit in it together without any issues. I think before we purchased it, I read that it holds well over three hundred pounds. The seat itself is large and comfortable, some office chairs are on the narrow, this one is definitely not! It is also a lot easier on my husband's knees to sit in the Serta At Home Big and Tall Office chair. He does a lot of online business in the home and that was always his major complaint. This chair is very well made. I don't often find that it lowers by itself like other office chairs tend to do. I appreciate the sturdiness of the frame, built to last. Even with its sturdiness, it features comfortable seating and cushioning. It would make a great office chair to anyone who is shopping for big and tall furniture.

Serta has been a brand trusted by my office and I used this office chair for about 9 months. The chair had a very comfortable seat and the back had a good height and width which was good for people who are tall as well. It helped me rest my head while working and I was initially very happy with the product. The arms of the chair were rounded at the corner and hence they did not hurt the hands. The wheels below made it easy to move around comfortably. However, the leather material was not good enough and within 2 months of the purchase, the seat started wearing out as the leather cracked and I thought it was because of my mistake that keep my bags on it if I am out but then when the seat started tearing even more, it was then I realized that the material was inferior and the chair started looking old very soon. I being the department head, it did not look good enough to be sitting on such a low quality chair and so I had to get it replaced with another chair of the same brand.

The Serta at home chair is a great piece of furniture to have around the home office space. This chair is incredibly durable and mine still looks brand new after years of use. The fake leather looks like the real thing and blends well with my office desk. The chair itself is very comfortable and I do not feel like I am working at the office when I sit in it! It is very easy to adjust the level of the chair, because the handle makes it easy to adjust. This mechanism locks in place, and works well. I mentioned this, because I have slipped down with other brand of chairs. The back of the chair is well built and I can lean back comfortably. The handles on the chair are built nicely, and I can lean back with my hands on them nicely. There was minimal assembly, which is also a positive in my household. The price was incredibly reasonable for the chair. I recommend this chair to anyone who works out of the home office.

We have an employee at my job who is very heavy and accomodations were made to buy oversized office chairs for my office . Our boss selected these Serta Executive chairs and they are absolutely fantastic ! The old chairs we had were so flimsy compared to these . This chair is really oversized and roomy - you can very easily accommodate a person who is large or tall - it is fully height adjustable and very well padded and sturdy . Even the arm rests are padded and comfy for less strain . It swivels easily so you can maneuver around your desk without having to keep getting up if you wish . I sit almost eight hrs straight in a desk chair at work and that can contribute to a bad back, stiff joints , etc but this chair made a world of difference for me and my co-workers. There is nice back support , padded seat and arms , very ergonomically friendly for office workers - it is great for those who are required to sit at a desk for many hours on end .

nicely made chair. I am more of a bigger guy then most and the chair provides plenty of cushion & back support. The Chair does seem to creak a lot, which does get annoying or else I would have given it a better rating but oiling it on a regular basis does help eliminate the issue. Cahir on raises a few inches up or dawn, so if you have long legs, you might not enjoy it too awful much. For lighter consumers, this chair will be a win-win. This chair does accommodate larger individuals very well, but again, longer legged buyers might have issues with 'knee-to-desk syndrome overall it was worth the money materials it is constructed with are quality, keeps it's balance well when rolling and relaxing back. arm rests are perfect for me and positioned at a proper height. very nice material covering the back and chair portions, head rest area is nice. chrome finish arms and leg posts are a nice accent to the piece

When we moved into a new office at my job my employer purchased these Serta at Home Executive Big & Tall Office Chairs. At first, I loved this thing. It was so comfortable! I like to sit with my legs crisscrossed at my desk and this chair gave me plenty of room to do so. Unfortunately, my love for this chair quickly faded though as I began to notice the terrible quality. The cushion quickly became less comfortable because it just flattened out. The base became wobbly and I always felt like the chair was just going to tip. We had our maintenance men attempt to tighten the screws attached to the base but it never did any good. The chair just is not made well. None of us in the office liked these chairs and they were replaced by our employer. Do not bother wasting your money on this item. It looks nice; however, the looks are very misleading. Serta will not be getting business from my place of employment again, that is for sure.
