My husband and I had purchased a brand new, good quality mattress set.  But after a year, it was just not doing the trick for us.  We were both sleeping fitfully, I woke up with cronic hip pain, he with back pain.  But we knew we could not get a whole new mattress set, so we began looking at toppers.

This mattress topper can only be described by one word, comfortable! I have never found one that I truly liked until I bought this one. It was a little on the expensive side for my taste, but worth every penny. My only complaint is the one I have, sometimes scrunches up when I sleep or moves.

serta ultimate mattress topper is the greatest thing I have ever seen. I had the greatest night sleep I have had in years. I wish I had bought one years ago and I will tell all my friends and family about it. If anyone had told me about how great it was  would have said they we telling a lie. The price was very good . First I bought a 2in. for my son's bed. Then I bought a 3in. for my bed. Heavenly!! Then my other son took my 3in. (not until I got my 4in.) I immediately fell in love with memory foam. My shoulders, hip, knee pain no longer wake me all night. No more tossing and turning. I hate to leave home. Never know what I'll be sleeping on and I miss my mattress.

This a 4" memory foam mattress topper by Serta, 4 lb density.  If you don't know, 'density' is really important in buying memory foam.  What I'm told is that the higher the number the firmer and sturdier it is and it will last longer.

So far this seems like a very good product.  The 4 lb density makes it a little firmer and sturdier then the 2.5 -3 lb densities that you find in the general market place.  And 4" of the memory foam is far better than the 1.5" you usually get.

Since getting this topper I will turn over once maybe twice in a night, but generally I will wake up in the same position...

The Serta Ultimate 4-inch Memory Foam Mattress is extremely comfortable. It puts me to sleep every night in seconds and keeps me asleep all night. I have never woken up with a back ache or any other problems. It is very very supportive and it is great for the lower back. I love how it is firm but since it is a pillowtop it is soft and comfortable at the same time. It litterally made me sleep like a big baby. I love it.
