Serta Ultimate 4-inch Memory Foam Mattress Topper —

serta ultimate 4-inch memory foam mattress topper is a dream come true. prior to buying this item, sleeping on my old mattress was horrible. i bought this item from overstock and the shipping was free. it was win - win all around. the only problem (and they do state airing the topper out) was the smell from the foam. it will take two to three days of the topper laying flat to air out. once on one's bed it is great. the only problem now in the morning, i don't want to get out of the bed. also, it does not come with a cover so that is an extra cost, but also worth it. it will protect the foam and it can be washed. if one's back or hips are sore, this will help. it will raise the height so be prepared to buy new sheets that have deep pockets.
