We bought our mattress at sams club, looking for a quick inexpensive mattress. Only paid $277 for a queen size. Its not the softest but by far not the hardest. good value for the money.  For our next purchase, hopefully a few years down the road, I would get the foam top that they offer.  Sams also offers the box springs for $99.
