My husband and I bought our Serta firm pillowtop 13 months ago.  After sleeping on it for only 3 months, what was once a very comfortable mattress, turned into a nightmare! Our pillowtop is made of memory foam that has no memory. It causes the mattress to sag in the middle, as do the springs now that we are into our 13th month.  What a waste of money this mattress is!  We have flipped our mattress several times since we purchased it but it does not help our overall dissatisfaction with this mess.  We both loose sleep from terrible back and neck aches and we suffer head aches induced from the muscle pain in the back and neck.  Please use extreme CAUTION when purchasing this mattress. I do not reccommend this mattress to anyone.

I purchased my very first Sealy Posture-pedic firm (comfort level 3) for US-Mattress online last November 2008. At first it was great! The comfort level was amazing but it is starting to sag on the side that I sleep on and create an indentation, too. If I want to roll over to the other side of the bed, it is almost like I have to climb up a hill. I am very disappointed with my mattress and of course all sales are final after a 100 day trial. My next mattress will be a regular firm without the pillowtop (when I can afford it). The box spring also seems to be losing its shape, too. I chosed to 5 inch instead of the 9 inch. It also came with the heavy duty bedframe. I recommend that anyone who purchases a Sealy Euro Firm Pillowtop to really do your homework and ask a lot of questions about the reality of the support over a period of time. Well...time to go to bed and feel like I'm going to fall off the edge due to the sagging. Good night all.

HaoleMom,
We are going through the same hell with a Simmons BeautyRest mattress. It was also very comfortable at first and they are suppose to have a 10 year warranty but now we are in our 4th year of owning it and our backs kill us every day. We spent over $1500 on this mattress and now we regret it, bigtime. We are shopping for a new mattress now but we are very suspicious about every mattress out there because of what we have gone through :(
Thank you for yur review; it was SO helpful.
