I have been taking Seroquel for 5 years now. I started out taking 25 mg three times a day and now five years later I take 200 mg once every night. I used to lay awake at night unable to stop thinking long enough to relax and go to sleep. It was the most horrible feeling. Seroquel was the answer to my racing thoughts. Not being able to sleep has to be one of the worst feelings I have ever had. I had insurance when I started taking it so everything was great. Then I had a rude awakening. I lost my insujrance and when I went to pick up my rx it was like 700.00. I couldn't belive it. I dont understand how something that helps people so much can cost this much money. Needless to say I couldn't afford that kind of money. I would buy a few here and a few there. Luckily I received insurance again and that price dropped. So although it is a great, lifesaving, medication, the downfall (and i mean huge downfall) is that the average person cant afford it without insurance. Therefore, I only gave it four stars.
