Quick View: I likeĀ Serious Skin Care First Pressed Olive Oil Hydra-Gloss Shampoo and I also like Serious Skin Care First Pressed Olive Oil Hydra-Gloss Hair Conditioner but this somewhat pricey conditioner is very watery and I need a load of it to cover my long hair. I like the results but it's not worth the price when I run out so much sooner than I do the shampoo.
My Take on Serious Skin Care First Pressed Olive Oil Hydra-Gloss Hair Conditioner
This conditioner comes in an 8 ounce flip top plastic bottle. It looks exactly like the shampoo and it is really hard to tell in the shower which is which, the ONLY difference is the word Conditioner on the label.
Made with real pressed olive oil, this conditioner smells heavenly. It's a nice change from floral conditioners and very unisex. The consistency is almost like water though. It has a weird kind of blue green tint and it is super thin and runny. When I pour it into my hand, it leaks between my fingers and I lose some of it. I need a lot of the conditioner to cover my long hair but, once I do get it onto my hair, it does a nice job of hydrating and shining it.
My hair does look very slightly weighed down but not greasy or oily by any means. It feels soft, silky, and looks shiny. I love the scent that lingers on my hair too. But I have trouble getting past the watery consistency of Serious Skin Care First Pressed Olive Oil Hydra-Gloss Hair Conditioner. It just pours out like water! I like thicker, more concentrated conditioners. I end up using the conditioner up long before I do the shampoo and it isn't cheap at $14.50 for an 8 ounce bottle. It is cheaper to buy a kit of Serious Skin Care Olive Oil products on HSN than to buy this conditioner alone.
In all, I do like Serious Skin Care First Pressed Olive Oil Hydra-Gloss Hair Conditioner as far as results go and my hair does feel and look good after I use it. But the runny nature of the conditioner leads me to reconsider buying it again.
My Viewpoint
Serious Skin Care First Pressed Olive Oil Hydra-Gloss Hair Conditioner is great for dry, stressed hair. it gives it a lot of shine and makes it silky soft. My hair looks super conditioned when I use it and I have no real issues with my hair being weighed down too much. However, as I said, it is runny and that bugs me. I will recommend it as long as you're aware of the thinness of the product and that doesn't bother you. 3 stars.
